A replacement longplay for my previous video with much improved video and sound quality. I do runs as both both sonic and knuckles and I collect all the chaos emeralds in both runs. You cannot glide with knuckles without transforming after collecting all emeralds which is a bit frustrating. -

As a kid I owned Sonic and Knuckles, but not Sonic 3 at first. I didn't get Sonic 3 until after I had beaten S&K a few times so the S&K zones and special stages always seemed to easy to me and the Sonic 3 zones and special stages were more difficult. I still have the S&K special stages in my memory better than the Sonic 3 ones.

This was the game that really changed the game for me. SOnic 1 will always be one of my all time top fav vid games, but then SPinball evolved thangs, and Sonic & Knuckles took it to the next level. Not many good games in the franchise after that point ( Cd was kinda meh, 32x didnt hit the mark, and the adventure games were alright).

50:07 had me in my feelings seeing Knuckles like that when I was a kid back in the 90s.. I was obsessed with Sonic 3 and LOVED Knuckles so seeing he became good and getting electrocuted like that, I thought he was dying after hitting the bridge button. Also for those who don't know about it, when you get to 50:30 in the game and press down somewhere near him(forgot the exact location), he permanently signals you to get moving

On ps3 I have the Sonic's Genesis collection and this game is on it along with Sonic The Hedgehog, Sonic The Hedgehog 2, Sonic The Hedgehog 3, Sonic and Knuckles, Sonic Pinball, Sonic 3D, The Revenge of Shinobi, Shinobi 3: The Return of the Ninja Master, SOR ((Streets of Rage)) 1, 2 and 3, Golden Axe 1, 2, and 3 and many more.
