Finally, after all these years I finally found this game! When I was younger, we had this game, but I never could remember much of the game. One thing I remember most was the boss theme.

I used to watch mom play this in the mid to late 90's, and it was always one of our favorites. Even though we never did beat it. I would try to beat it today but we don't have the game anymore. My dumbass of a brother left the game (and several others) at his old apartment, and it got infested with bed bugs, destroying the games and one of 2 NES consoles we had.

Its hard to believe that world of longplay mess up that upload. They did not even require the runner to beat the game twice and show the special mode and the true ending.

i know right??? me and my mom used to play this for HOURS when i was growing up. oddly enough, she was hella great at the game :o wish we still had it but my brother had to throw it out due to ALL of our NES games getting infested with bedbugs.

Yes the music is ass, yes the backgrounds are bland and yes this is an easier game than most shoot em ups but got some interesting power ups and game mechanics. Great fun with an nes advantage controller.

It isn't bad, but as an arcade port, especially one that came out relatively late in the NES' lifespan, it's extremely compromised and underwhelming. The only positive it has over the original and its other ports is that it's a lot easier. Kinda weird that Irem dropped the ball on this one, considering the other NES games they made were outstanding, especially Metal Storm.

well i have the ps1 version along with x-multiply but the nes version is not good, ear rape soundtrack (worst than the pc engine version) and bad graphics but there was a good nes game made by irem called metal storm and i really like that game more than image fight on nes, overall i think you should play the pc engine version over this ugly version of arcade game, not great as the ps1 version but still a good port.

The NES Version could be improve further, the graphics of the protoganists looks awful, there are not enough background graphics but forgivable due to the sprites limitation of the nes.The US Version making a mistake by replacing black background with blue background in some stages. The music contains beep sound that are unbearable.All these fault could be forgiveable.the downside of this game are the difficulty, bosses and larger enemy are easily destroyed, sparse area with no enemies to shoot at. Insufficient enemy on screen. It also lack the difficulty level selection found in the pc engine version.

@@wongyc5585 No, the game was remade with new graphics and such for an arcade machine. I don't think an NES would've been able to properly run or showcase SNES-style graphics.
