I've watched hundreds and hundreds of cooking videos, and this is my favorite so far! I always feel cheated when they just have music and no narration, I can't believe someone would cook something and not have anything to say about it! I've made a few bologna sandwiches, and might have thought there was nothing more to say about it, but I'm about to go do it like THIS as soon as we're done here! // As an aside, I used to live in VA near Richmond, and everyone had "bologna burgers" there. I'd never heard of it! Usually a pretty think slice of fried bologna on a bun, fixed up like a hamburger. It was cheap and really heavy! I asked some people who cooked them, and the favorite dressing was fried onions and mustard, so I just did it like that, and maybe fry the bun a little, too. Good! You kind of want a nap after you eat that.

Loved the sandwich tried it myself, Did a little experimenting and after I fried the balogna I added a layer of mozzarella cheese slices on the top and bottom of the balogna, added bread with the buttered side facing out and grilled it. Fried balogna grilled cheese, it may give the duck tape girl gas but I recommend er highly. Try it yourself, maybe even make a video out of it! love your cooking, watched em all, I'll try some more! maybe I'll have myself some tater chip cookies next!

My only regret is not discovering this great man sooner. I've always cut my bologna that way as well. Although I'm a little upset that no mustard was used in this. Lettuce can be used as well but it will make your sandwich slide (unless you're using shredded lettuce.) This is a true all American Southern Classic. The pork and beans are the perfect compliment to this. Tomato soup is acceptable if thats all thats in your cupboard. Ramen noodles are also a great side.

enjoyed the video - i watched a video today about a little place in canada called wilenskys where the special is a fried bologna sammich . i would like to try your recipe with the tomato as that looks more balanced . thinking about making some potato soup too . we just roasted a chicken and had that for three days , with stuffing and mashed taters , and gravy . trying to find less expensive options since the prices went crazy . like we got an air fryer and we have been doin chicken legs with open pit sauce and that wasnt too shabby . i really like making a lot of chilli during the colder months though and cornbread . i love that style of cooking but i am from chicago so it doesnt make much sense . my mom was a pretty good cook who prepared meals with a lot of side dishs , but that was all french inspired cooking style , which isnt bad mind you but i have a more adventurous palette . thanks for making the entertaining video , i swear i could smell it !

I love the smell of fried bologna cooking >:3 . I use extra virgin olive oil, and season it with lawry's seasoned salt and onion powder (offbrand) from walmart/dollar store. Then I toss some real chopped onions in it. I like it on wheat bread with a slice of velvetta cheese and some ketchup. I got the idea of slicing the edges from your vid, you seem really down to earth and cool :)
