No its 12S Lipos so 50.4V fully charged or a nominal voltage of 44.4V with a 48V brushed controller and 5V throttle. There's another video of inside the scooter that shows everything wired up

I did 44v before, and tried 54v and it's that fast and I only weigh 120lbs. BUT, that's running it on the stock 24v e300 motor, direct with no controller, just a switch. you do a couple or three pass like that and the motor is as hot as a burning stove and the thermal protection inside it kicks and shuts it down. it will run again after a few seconds but will eventually, literally burn the motor. now you can remove the the thermal protection inside or just bypass it by shorting it, and that's when you will see smoke and fire trailing. The only way to.go that fast or rather faster than 30mph on mine is to stay at 44v, changed the motor sprocket from 11 tooth to 13 tooth, added another 24v motor that I salvaged from a supermarket shopping scooter fitted with a 25 tooth sprocket (installed with set scews) chained to a 40 tooth wheel sprocket that I salvaged from the same shopping scooter. There are now two wheel sprockets.and the salvaged motor just sits above the rear tail. it's like a manual transmission, a new switch activates the stock set up which gets up to 27mph and while at that speed, you activate the secondary motor from the same switch which deactivates the stock set up, and this start accelerating up to a top speed of 38mph on a fully charged batteries. you slow down by switching back and another switch very close by cuts the entire power, and you can now apply the brake. took several runs for.me.to.get used to using it, and believe me, when you're going that fast, it's very easy to get confused specially if you have to suddenly stop because of cars, people and big bumps. if you guys were wondering how I.ended with 44v, I kept the two stock 12v sla and added my two 18v 3.0A Makita lithium ion tool batteries connected parallel to get 6A and series with the 24v sla. When the Makitas are fully charged, usually in 30 mins each, they max at 20v, add that to the fully charged sla maxing at 13.4v in a couple of hours, thanks to the specialty charger that came from that same poor shopping scooter that I also salvaged, of couse. hey, this charger is unbelievable because it's not only charging the slas, it maintains it by reconditioning them. the two 12v 35AH sla from that cart, that nobody wants so I just kept them, was back in 2011 and still holds a charge of 12.8v after charging them for weeks now. how did I got a hold of that shopping scooter? well I saw it behind a supermarket loading dock and.dumpster area along with tons of shopping carts that they supposedly tossed away for recycling, rusting from getting rained on. and they said they will be happy if I just take everything so they don't have to hire someone to haul everything off their lot. well, I dismantled the poor thing right there and just.took what I thought I can use. My van is full of tools for work and junk that I pick up here and there that.people just throw away. anyway, that's the story. amazing what you can do to improvise when you don't have a lot of money to play with. It works for me and I don't mind digging through what people throw away and look inside dumpsters (commercial and industrial dumpsters guys, not stinky residential dumpsters) Praise God! houston, tx

Hi Richard. If I've followed this right, you're running 12s lipos with the stock 250w motor and getting 30mph with your lightweight pilot? What will it do with you piloting?I've modded my e300 with 16s lipos and the 350w my1016 motor (needs new unthreaded holes on the mounting rails but retains the side stand). Gearing is 11t/80t and it does about 24mph with an 11st adult. I daren't let my 9yo DD on it to see what it will do.

Hi no problems so far. My son only weighs 20KG so the motor isn't working too hard at the higher voltage. It was my intention to uprate the motor to the 350W one but that's on hold at the mo. Good luck with yours!

Hi i have one and it goes around 12 miles per hour even tho it says 15 But its still pretty fast and fun and ive had it since last october and its still working great can go around 2 miles up hilles and down hills with 200 pounds on it so its really great

NO you can ride it threw puddles and damp grass and in the rain its very well protected by water

We don't ride much in the wet as the batteries I use can't get wet. Easy to put in a waterproof box but we just keep it dry. The scooter is quite watertight though as standard.

Eh more like 20 all scooters top speed is 15. With an extra 12V you can boost it to 20~25 depending on motor, rider weight & resistance. I have an old Schwinn S500. It normally runs on 24V 10Ah with 500W motor. I added a 12V 7Ah (don’t charge the batteries together it can be lethal) and man can I go up to 25 possibly 30 if I lose a little weight.
