Like your vids man. Full of energy, lots of custom things going on around the shop etc. There is only so much tools and other things you can buy, the rest generally gets made after years of struggle to get something right and then one day, one takes the time to fabricate what you need and within a few years you have a full blown workshop 😀

Yeah she's awesome and really wanted to help with the video. Im happy the kids show interest in the shop (or anything around it). Hopefully they will benefit from the experience as they grow up. Thanks for watching :)

Im so impressed with your vacuum system, i cant believe how well it can hold that little part with so much of the bed uncovered 👍

Yeah its good, tho remeber that there is only 1 vacuum zone open. That area is 1250x500mm. Ramping and ending the perimiter cut at the center of the longest vector is recommended pretty much always :)

Great stuff. The edges looks super smooth. Can you do some video about bottom chamfering? Show the tool, etc. There is little to no content like that. Also how much coolant do you use per hour of routing?
@randomrouting
@randomrouting Жыл бұрын
Hey, sure I'll include it in the next video.👍 The pump is able to supply 1L per hour and ive got it set to just under 50% so with resistance ect its probably around 0.4-0,5L per hour of cutting. I could probably atleast half that if i got closer with the nozzles.. Im considering sliding a ptfe tube in a ptfe tube (like now) but that slides in and out with the airpressure that is supplied to the suction cup. we'll see.

As always, awesome video. Which bending programm are you using? And I think in one of your videos you say you are using ENAW 5754 H111 raw material. Do you have problems with "warping" in the raw material? We use ENAW 5754 H22 and sometimes the raw material is warped on the whole length of the raw dimension. Maybe we will switch to the H111 material.

Thanks! Im always rushing when doing vids so im happy ppl still think they are ok.🙏 Im using "Dr Abe Bend". Atleast thats what it used to be called, its part of Amada bend suite. Both "Production Designer" (where i import the 3d model) and the bend program are Amada specific and really ment for their cnc punch or laser machines so ive had to do some trickery to get it better suited for my use. Doing that has perhaps been the most fun this year, every "fix" adds so much convienence and value overall. Yes I mostly cut 5754-H111 and its funny you should ask about warpage because yes that IS a problem, infact couple weeks ago i got perhaps the most warped 1250x2500x5 sheets yet and it was more or less unusable. They were "cupped" along both directions. Every time a piece was cut loose it warped up 5-6mm so impossible to chamfer ect. I sent them back and ordered new ones because i was thinking it was the shipping that did it, they are NOT laying flat on the truck and sometimes there 1-2 tonns on top. I had the exact same problem again. Im used to SOME warpage but this was not ok. So i talked to the supplier and got them to take them back yet again and I asked where they got the sheets from. They get them from all over the world but this batch specifically was from china. I asked for new sheets and this time from germany. They arrived and they are perfecly flat. The other thicknesses I ordered was partly from south africa and im guessing some from other parts of EU. The 3mm sheets also had warping issues but not so much so the vaccum hold down can handle them. I am considering telling the supplies to give me german made sheets from now on whenever possible. Its just such an headache when they arent flat. ps. I stopped using H22 due to cracking when doing narrow/sharp bends, otherwise its the industry standard.

I always look forward to new videos from you. Thank you for the detailed answer. Is the dr abe bend a free software? I am currently looking for a low cost or maybe free offline programming software for our Coastone press brake. It's very interesting that you had these problems too. We are from Germany, but we may also get the raw material from various other countries through our suppliers. I think we need to discuss this topic with our material supplier.😄

@@hytech_tretantrieb3051 Software only comes with a machine puchase and only works for Amada (as far as i know), I heard somewhat good things about autopol, might be worth checking out. Yes it interesting that you have been experiencing the same problem with the material. Definately worth talking with your supplier, funny if it turns out its from the same place. Prefer German made 👌

Hi! What protractor do you use?
@randomrouting
@randomrouting Жыл бұрын
Its called DigiPro and comes with the Amada pressbrake. It sends the values to adjust the bend angles wirelessly. Amada does not manufacture it tho so it might be possible to find a non amada branded one. There are other wireless options out there aswell.

123, most common program name in the world…thinking it over machine manufacturers around the world should have a 123 button on their machines similar to that windows key …
