70 for any Tamiya is amazing, but a 2wd DT-02? That's crazy. Those tires/wheels definitely gave it some stability at the higher speed too. Congratulations 🎉
@JoevsRc5 ай бұрын
ThanKS! It did give it a fue more mph but the stability was better on the spiked prolines 😆 🤣

Yeah, man, world's fastest! That's super cool! It's amazing with that high gearing, it still pulls wheelies like a crazy thing, he he!

Congrats Joe 👏 I haven't thought, maybe my 55mph is WR for "brushed" 2s. But Nick (thebandit1974) is sniffing my rear end and has not delivered is last effort, we'll wait until the end of the song 👀😊🤝

Thank you! You might be correct on the 55 mph brushed record. I went down the rabbit hole last night looking for top speed runs with a DT02 buggy

Well Done Joe, you are smashing it on top with that super impressive 70 mph time. Whats next? 22t pinion and 80 mph? Guess I'll have to wait and see along with everybody else 😁😆😄

Who da man?!!!!!! 🥇 🏆 💪 Boy that was crazy fast, great run dude!! That's guna take some beating Sir! That's double what our best is so far! I still believe that this 2wd off road chassis handles speed far better than the 4wd on road tto2 that we all abused last year..... how does that work? Think you've got this one well and truly in the bag mate! 👍 👍 👍
@JoevsRc5 ай бұрын
@yodadarksideGreenHawksRC I am so surprised how well this handles. I did minor things. Locked the diff,90 wt oil for the shocks and some weight upfront. That was all

@@thebandit1974 you open up the gear box and slot one of the screw holes so you can slide the motor back to fit a 22 tooth.

These dt-02's dont need rear wings but huge front wings to keep the front down lol. all the weight is already on the back end becouse the motor hangs behind the axle.

@Dragon69FlyTeam lol ya I could not keep the holiday buggy tire side down once it started to make some real speed. That's when I went with the desert gator body. I was running a rudog 4.0 motor and castle mamba speed control. It could have gone a little faster it I tweaked a few things. Hope to see your new ride
