also yeah thats an XC bike. 2001 FSR. So you'd have to be out of your fucking mind to test those rims on a jump like that.

is this an old video? cause that bike looks ancient. the geometry just seems about 10 years old, its using ROCK SHOX with the older logo. it looks like the DH judy from 1997. even with the extreme angle he landed, a modern FSR bike with DH fork+rims wouldn't crumple like that I don't think.

way too fast for the jump, alot of people think they have to pedal like mad to clear a jump but if the gradient of the hill is fairly steep your going to launch even with minimal speed its doesnt look like that hard of a jump, he just made it worse than what it seemed by hitting it with too much speed and then crashing
