Guys don't worry, when he says it won't come loose, he means it won't come loose naturally, or if you tug on the ends, but if you pull on one part of the rope from the middle of the x it should loosen, then you can pull one end of the rope out of the x and the knot is undone. Just wanted to clarify that for anyone who thought it would literally be impossible to untie it. There are plenty of knots that dont tighten when pulled, e.g. alpine butterfly which creates a fixed loop which will not tighten (bind) under any load. There are many such loops
