We've lost many rappers in recent years, but Young Dolph's assassination hit different. He was very important for the future of the rap game and its culture, and we lost a real one way too soon. RIP

You can tell at 8:01 King Dolph🐬 almost cried and got sentimental when he was explaining how his Mom and Dad couldn’t take care of him because they were on drugs and his Grandmother stood up and raised him. Dammit man I love Young Dolph’s hustle, motivation, and music WISH WE CAN BRING HIM BACK ALIVE‼️

I know you wish you could. I've been relistening his rap and I hear his appeal to African Diaspora in Memphis. In West Africa he'd be the popular story teller. I traveled to Angola and Senegal with my Cape Verdean crew to visit relatives. When in this part of Africa the musical storytellers on the rivers will sing recent news to arrivals from New Bedford and Fall River. Dolph was very much his West African counterpart.

Both crips, both independent rappers not signed to any industry, both gave back to their city and section, both spoke proudly of not signing to anything, both Leo’s that were born in august 1 day apart from their birthdays, both had same mindset, dolph made a real and the dopest chain of nipsey, not to mention before nipsey got killed , him and dolph were scheduled to go on tour together literally a couple weeks before nipsey died….. man it’s crazy … hate to even mention that they both got killed basically the same way…..crazy

This is my 2nd time watching too. I came more for his pictures at the Lorraine Motel, which made me think another assasination of a king, on the streets of Memphis. It also made me wonder with Dolph recording there was he senseing more negative vibes around him. Because your spirit can quickly pick up on someone around you with ill will toward you, as a warning to get away. I call them jinky folks, some call them toxic, and I do not like to be around jinky folks, because usually they're carrying karma biting at them, and in their illiterate mind think getting rid of you, their karma will leave, or something. But in this case their karma just doubled in size, for them. And you don't want to be standing next to them when their karma gets that bite on them. That's why they like the company of people, so they feel protected, or hidden, I don't know. But I do know hanging wlith toxic people that bs in them can rub off on you. I'm just thinking outside the box, trying to say something that may help my mind understand this senseless tragedy. But what I say is with open honesty, and just my perspective.

It's interesting how his aunt was saying here she hoped he would be a teacher. I hope she sees now, her dream was already a reality, because he's been teaching, for the longest, and ppl are listening and learning. I love this young man, Young Dolph, love how he was a family man, took care of his family, and others. Just a good, genuine, unselfish human being. Just feels like a bad dream you'll wake from, that this couldn't have happened to him, but you know it's true. Now the killers have to deal with God, and the ancestors who don't like what they did. Gonna be a very rocky road.

I would play some of his songs ("Much Deeper, Doing What I gotta Do") and it impacted me so much that I would cry . His music, stories, and RealCard Just made me feel like a spirit took over me... It’s the lil nuances you can tell a persons true character…right after Dolph hits the blunt & passes it to Glock he start’s to enter the shop realizing he still hasn’t exhaled the smoke as he walks in he turns his head to the door to try & blow the smoke out…tho it may not have worked in the end its the thought & respect for the man’s place of business that stands out

Thats crazy u said that. Tears is coming to my eyes because thats excatly what i said when i saw that. He actually cared all the smoke was out the shop. Its like its not that serious buts its says alot about his respect. I go to the comments and the first one i see is yours.
