It's a nice engine. Feels very balanced between torque and response. It is nothing like a Ferrari V12 though, and the transmission in the GrznCabrio MC leaves a lot to be desired.

The Cali, which is essentially a Maserati, got the 430 derived engine. I've seen all three engines taken apart in the same room. The GranCabrio 4 7 shares nothing, not a single thing with the Ferrari engines.

I have a 2012 QP S, and a 2014 GT cabriolet, and I find that the sound of that 4.7l L. one of the best! The QP naturally has good sound dampening...the Cabriolet? Top down, it exudes some of the most beautiful harmonics going up or down thru the gears! I've had people who once they hear the exhaust note, say it is unmistakeable. Even my ex-fiancee, who had a GT pull up alongside her. She said to the driver, I know that sound.

I'm really considering getting one of these. Those classic styling lines are timeless and it looks sweet. Yet it doesn't look so over the top that it gathers unwanted attention from every person that sees it like say a 458 or aventador. The R8 and jag f type are also really cleanly built, but I think I like the way this car looks best. Now, next to a one 77 I would change my mind, but I don't want that headache or a 7 figure price.

GtaRockt Great thing about Maserati is that they're relatively cheaper than a Ferrari or Lambo. Brand New and second hand. Around £40k second hand but if you save up you can get there no probs.

I agree mars, but in portugal even one of these are expensive, our minimium salary is 500€ and cars are really expensive, a 2005 masserati ghibli with 100.000km is around 40.000€, and for example in france you can buy a grand new masserati ghibli for around 60.000€, but to make it legal in portugal you pay a lot of taxes.... It is a crime, to buy a car like these here, or you are very rich or you are fucked, only in Lisboa you can see good cars and believe me you rarely see v10 or v12 and seeing a v8 is a miracle

why? When theyre unnatatched they dont get in the way of steering, they are always in the same place and when theyre this large (which the italians certainly get now) you can grab them at any lock because they almost span thw circumference of the steering wheel

I am not missing the pint--you are. When taking tight corners at high speed, the driver must keep both hands on the wheel, which makes it hard to reach a shift lever on the console. By putting the shifter on the steering wheel shifting is easy as you maintain more grip on the wheel, while with the column mounted you have to reach further and have less contact. I have driven both, steering wheel mount is better. So wrong again.

Nothing but a 392 challenger compares to this (Chally built upon e63, s63 platform, similar NAV to Maserati but Uconnect has more SRT gauge screen appz) i don't think some cars LSD and driver aids will work well with 550hp, MC is 4 seat car with 2 doors. Porsche don't have this and M6 has tiny seats worse than RS5 another car with numb steering as most do now.
