*Great item. First cast out of the package caught a nice bass. Pulls smooth in the water and sets up nicely immediately upon retrieval. Worth adding to your tackle box.*

If you ever think of braving the frozen north (seriously our lakes are frozen now) my mother in law works for Pure Fishing, AKA Berkley, which does all the the GULP and Powerbait products in Spirit Lake IA. and walking through there is a blast! I think I have the coolest mom in law... I get to test a lot of things that you can't buy.

Awesome tour Chris! I was curious to see how they shoot those colored tail baits (doa shrimps) in a production facility, however, I suppose it is a proprietary process that you were not able to shoot....

they shoot it together actually..no snipping or anything. I tried to get footage of it but I was a little limited in what I was allowed to film.

For them guys to allow you into there shop man BIG SHOUT OUTS to them guys! I would buy there baits just for that reason. I was a big fan of #ReactionInnovation and wanted to know one color combo and they wouldn't tell me so i wasted a bunch of plastisol trying to get that color. And i told them i can't buy no more of there baits for a while cause i had to waste plastisol. They don't realize how much it means to a guy like me just to help with that color. All it did was pushed me away from there products! Shout outs to them guys man. Thanks for sharing Chris

nope no degas...the plastic is cooked very quickly and then immediately shot...hardly any bubbles somehow haha. we took some of the same exact plastisol they use and poured with it a Terrys house and got bubbles..something about the way they cook it doesnt bubble it in those heat exchangers.

they didnt want me to say the name of the plant...you don't buy baits from them, they are a third party injection company that shoots the baits for other brands.

they are out of business now anyways. this was Soft Plastics of Florida. owners were a$$h01es that left their customers out to dry. DOA was part owner and Soft Plastics owed them so much money they ended up going under. I had to sneak down there under the cover of darkness to retrieve my molds before their doors were padlocked.

That pigment is Screen Print Plastisol Ink. I recognize all of that from mixing screen printing ink... which is PVC based.

@@WorldsWorstFishing all the new Plastisol is phthalate free too. I still have some old on the shelf, Wilflex, Union, One Stroke are the ones I used most. You can thin them down with plasticizer... I may get into this and try it.

Soft popper elastech like pencil popper with a paddle tail worm ass. Mold it from a hard plastic popper cut all metals off. Glue the paddle worm on like a fin. Create a mold poor soft plastic indestructable plastics. and sell them all to me 😉 ill send you the perfect hard lure ups if you would send me some when finished. Ill actually send you a few hard too waters , if you would send me some of what i imagined.
