Another excellent video! this phenomenon needs to be known and understood, Davids 411 books are a start and are getting more interest. It.s guys like you who are spreading the word and bringing these disappearances to the public who would never come across this strange and terrifying reality. I found a podcast by a girl who is investigating vanishings in Wales and the cases are too similar not to be related. I will find the Podcast for you I think you will agree her findings are almost identical in every way. I will get back to you with the Podcast. Keep up the good work you are doing a great job and this issue needs to be understood and the facts in the public domain so people know of the risks that are clearly very dangerous.

When my wife was 6 years old her parents and younger brother went on a picnic on the shores of Lake Champlain. The young girl walked onto a short dock and gazed into the lake. As she turned and started to walk away she heard a noise behind her. Turning she saw what appeared to be two small web like hands at the end of the dock. As she watched a small black head with gills appeared. This is where she screamed and ran back to her nearby family. She told her parents what she had seen and her father went to investigate. There was no creature to be seen however at the end of the dock where two wet spots the size of a childs hand. My wife relates that even years after the event she recalls her father relating the story to he's fishing friends who didn't seem surprised by the story at all and often recounted stories of their own. My wifes mother, who was an excellent swimmer and would on occasion swim the width of the lake and back never swam in the lake again and forbid her children to do so as well.

@@glennthomas9878Thomas lol open-minded. Just a couple of Paulides correlations. He says he proposes no theories he simply reports factual evidence. He has found quite a few interesting paradigms while sifting through lists of the missing. A group at risk are those with limited mobility and disabled, which would at first glance seem unlikely. Another group at risk are those with degrees especially Physicists and this group those that have gone missing have never been found. A key factor David claims is what he has identified as The Point of Separation. That moment in time when you are no longer visible to your group. Many times after only a few seconds people will vanish inexplicably. A seeming anomalies correlation is that many times more often than not the initial search must be postponed due to extreme and or inclement weather. The SAR and or LAW ENFORCEMENT Canine are unable to track the victim's scent and often turn in circles and lie down. Strange atypical behaviour for these animals. There are many many more he has lots of videos and books. The books are separated by paradigms. Peace

@DivingTiger I think you aren't as familiar with David Paulides and the Missing 411 etc.. What you're stating is the reason why these cases are so puzzling, not because of "searches being unsuccessful" or done poorly. These are the cases that have law enforcement , rangers, etc. etc. baffled as well , when all common sense search efforts and such are exhausted. Such as if they "fell" or "animal attacks " , "abduction". As David says he only writes or speaks about the cases where these things are ruled out. If there were an animal attack there would be evidence, clothing, blood etc. but nothing is ever found anywhere . People have disappeared right in the middle of groups, or right behind someone within seconds of looking away. Check out the Dennis Martin case, where the boy was behind a bush with other kids in a field playing hide and seek. His father , grandfather and other parents were watching the whole time. When Dennis didn't come out the dad took off on a dead run through the forest looking for him. He has never been found. That was in 1969. There's so many.

@Top Mysteries Before even watching this video, I noticed the snippet of information relating to reports of mysterious disappearances of people in the jungles of Indonesia. The report specifically warned against wearing clothes of certain colours when going off into the jungle. This immediately pricked my attention because David Paulides has often remarked that in several missing person's cases from his "Missing 411" files, the victims had been wearing bright red jackets, blouses or shirts. Transfer now over to Zimbabwe in South East Africa, to a mountainous region with Mount Nyamgani as a favourite tourist attraction not without its own dangers and mysterious missing person's cases. The local natives warn people not to wear bright red clothes when they go walking on the mountain....they say that if you do, you may never return ! Coincidences ??? (You later reported this peculiarity at the end of your video, which I had not yet seen when I made the above comment).

@DivingTiger You are totally missing the point of the whole "Missing 411" mystery and related cases. 1969 I was 7 yrs old. Me and my family went on a picnic in upstate N.Y. We arrived around 9:30 am and while my mother and father and some relatives set up the day camp and picnic area. We kids went out exploring and playing. About an hour into our playing I began to get dizzy and light headed. I stumbled a few feet and remember fainting into a small creek that ran through the picnic area. Next thing I remember, I was walking through the woods at night and I was scared and hungry. The thirst I felt was unbearable, I was so cold and I remember thinking, were is everyone. How did I get here. My stomach hurt so bad from the hunger I felt. I was having hard time swallowing for I was so thirsty and couldn't produce any saliva. I was shivering so bad from cold and as I tried to hug myself for warmth, I noticed that I had no jacket shirt or shoes on. I remember thinking, were are my cloths. Then the next thing I remember was waking up and the sun was shining through the trees. It was still cold, but it wasn't as bad as it was when it was night. I figured I had fallen asleep against a tree and was waking up in the next morning. I must of sat there for a few hours just crying from hunger and thirst, and wanting my parents. I was so afraid. The next thing I know my fear level went up for I heard something walking through the woods coming at me. I did not know what it was, all I know is my fear was through the roof. I must of fainted for the next thing I knew I was in a hospital bed and my mom was their crying and doctors where there and some men in uniforms. The asked me questions, were have I been, did someone take me, were was I etc etc etc. I don't remember all the things they asked me, but I do remember them telling me that they had been looking for me 6 days. I told them what I could at time, I mean I was only 7 yrs old and I really couldn't remember much. Yrs later when I got older, my mother told me story of how I disappeared that day and that after a long search and rescue team search, I was found ten air miles away from where I disappeared from. I was found half way up this boulder hill laying among some trees. I was only wearing my underwear, no shoes pants shirts or jacket. My believed to her dying day that I was kidnapped by some perv. I don't believe that for I don't remember any humans being with me when I would wake up at times. My father would never talk about it, maybe he blamed himself for some reason. But I will leave you guys with this part. Yrs later, I would have flash backs and remember more details about it. I remember flying through the air, like if I had wings. It felt like someone was holding me and we were flying. I remember brushes hitting me in the face and scrapping against my arms and legs. It hurt but it was fun at the same time. It was unreal. Then I felt like I was slowing down and colors started to fill my vision. I remember popping through a air-hole, is how I describe it. Like a hole opened up in front of me and I flew through it. But when I popped through it was not air, it was water, like going from flying through air into water, color water. I couldn't get air into my lungs and then I passed out. It was weird, it happened a couple of times before I was found. I did not remember that until yrs later. I am 56 yrs old now and remember a few other things also, but keep those to myself. I think I went through something, something took me and we went some where. where? I don't know. But I will end with this. The jacket I was wearing that day - was RED.

I can't help thinking, as an amateur mythologist, that if these cases had occurred in the seventeen hundreds, they would have been explained as "abductions by fairies". Fairyland being an alternate universe very close to our own, which sometimes overlaps this reality, allowing people to pass into it. Unfortunately, sometimes you cannot return, and sometimes when you attempt to return, you end up in a different time and/or location. These legends seem to indicate that this phenomenon has been taking place for a very long time! My deepest sympathies to the families and friends affected.

There are documented cases of people who just show up, like a man flew into Japan with a passport and other identification that showed he came from a country that doesn't exist. While investigating he disappeared and has not been seen again. Then the case of the two green kids who were found. They would only eat green beans and spoke a foreign language. Later the boy died and the girls skin turned "normal". She later recounted her tale. She said they were out tending the flock when things went weird and they woke where they were found. I forget the name of the land they said they were from but it was a land of twilight where most everything had a green hugh. There are a lot more strange tales. It seems like that to me, as well. Only, I think that whatever is taking these people, it comes from the water, too. Maybe even more often than the air. There are often bodies of water in the immediate area. I'm thinking specifically about the canals in a previous video. It seemed like the young men were being pulled into the water. No one was seen on CCTV chasing them. People have been seeing USOs for years -- Unidentified Submerged Objects. Whatever they may be. Or it's something -- or someone -- so stealthy and completely unknown.
@celestenova7775 жыл бұрын
@@rachel_v_k Hi...yes you could be right, David Paulides has alluded to this as alot of missing hikers are near water when found or seen near water before disappearing. He also says about his cluster maps that down the middle of the USA there are not so many, if any, hikers disappearing. Don't know if that is the case or not. Steph (Stephen) Young has written a book about these water deaths called Dead in the Water and lists loads of these strange cases. One of the theories she read about was perhaps it is being perpetuated through mind technology for various reasons, one of them being some sort of life force sacrifice.....whether by other worldly means or human idk. Whatever, these poor folk do seem to be on some sort of mission to get themselves into water, like alot of the canal deaths we have in UK. So plenty to ponder about but as yet no definitive answer.

I vote for a future video to be about the missing person case of Brian Schaffer of Columbus, OH. One of the strangest disappearance cases. I've followed it for over a decade now. I also spend time looking into the Maura Murray case and the Briana Maitland case. Something about people just completely disappearing with no trace fascinates me.

Also Lars Mittank even though it was seemingly of his own doing. These cases are fascinating, disturbing and very depressing and tragic. Maybe most of these disappearances are being covered up by the authorities and governments who know more than they're revealing and I think we the people need and deserve to know the truth.
@robdizzle20064 жыл бұрын
@@fletchershepherd7039 the spotting of Lars Mittank by a trucker in Canada I want to say years later, that was always bizarre to me. He told the guy I'm Lars Mittank and he was kinda scraggly. Reminds me of that one case of that doctor that just disappeared and they found him years later living like a feral woods lifestyle. They identified him and he said he just wanted to be left alone and out of society. That always gives me hope, that maybe other people just went off grid hopefully. For Brian schaffer in always believed his friends Clint and Meredith knew what happened or had a very good idea what happened

And higher IQ is usually a associated trait of serial killers lol and have a higher likelihood of suicide idk the exact numbers but when your born extremely smart it seems your knowledge of evil and good is overwhelming and picking one or the other most take the easy way out and choose evil like Ted Bundy who had an IQ of 120 or some other crazy high number and some just see how evil and crazy the world is and decide fuck it I don't wanna be here anymore and kill themselfs and then some choose good and invent things kinda like the smart phones and computers and the internet itself that we are all using now. I have always thought being extremely smart wasn't or book smart wasn't always a good trait to have and was actually kinda a disadvantage imo because like someone else said common sense or street smarts is what they lack and in almost any situation you encounter in life the street smarts and common sense will do you more good than knowing every prime number In existence ever would but maybe I'm the only one that thinks that lol?

I do believe some of the incidents in cold weather can be explained by paradoxical undressing; however, this phenomenon is rare. That said, I am a retired Marine and have vast experience in extreme hot and cold weather environments. I have completed both cold and hot weather survival training. While training in 29 Palms, California a Marine became separated from his unit. He was found days later, deceased, naked and with two full canteens of water. He died from heat stroke and became so disoriented so quickly in the extreme heat, he didn’t have the sense to drink any water. My point, is this phenomenon also occurs in hot weather environments.

Where Robert, the brilliant young physicist with a phenomenal future ahead of him, is concerned, it’s mighty curious that a bright, stable and level headed, young man, even at his young age, would put his life in jeopardy, without some kind of compulsion occurring. Seems to me, there are quite a few brilliant and often quite gifted individuals who wind up victims among these unusual cases involving the missing, (as further documented by researcher, author and retired law enforcement officer, David Paulides. When confronted with what appears to be paranormal in nature, we have to expand our perception and ask the big question most of us feel ridicule for asking, which is what would want to hold human kind back?? Because that’s the undertone I’m picking up with some of this high strangeness.

The story of the disappearances of the three lightkeepers on the isle of Eilean Mor was embellished in the retelling in the early 1920s. The uneaten meal and the troubled behaviour of the men was added to the story later on. To my mind, there wasn't anything paranormal involved in their disappearances. Either freakish winds or a rogue wave swept them over the edge of the island and into the sea. Currents or powerful waves took their bodies further away from the isle. No sea monsters, no ETs, no ghostly activity, and no foreign spies were responsible for their disappearance. Bedtime Stories created a second video which offered the best explanation of the Eilean Mor incident.

Sometimes it’s possible for a body that is found in a river to sink into the depth of water and then the body will resurface due to the decomposition and build up of gases that are produced by the process of death?. The possible reason why anyone would want to go into the water are endless, they could have been trying to help an animal or even a person and then they got swept away or the temperature could be responsible. I remember a young lad who had jumped into a lake and he was half way across the lake and then he got his feet tangled up in the pond weeds and he was only just saved from drowning and he was a good swimmer but his face was something that I will never forget because he was clearly panicking and that made him lose his energy and started hyperventilating so I think that there are many reasons for people who are found dead in a body of water, I even saw a dog that was on a path next to a canal and there was so much green algae that the dog thought it was a field and it ran into the sludge and he was trying to get out but the more he panicked the quicker he was sinking into the mud and he would not have been found if he was not pulled out by myself!. The algae would have not taken long to cover the tracks and the dog would be buried and only found if there was a huge amount of rain and maybe the body would be washed up, the guy could have been under the ice and been trapped by the water and the current
@ktkat19495 жыл бұрын
The math whiz was just a sad accident not a mysterious disappearance. He fell in the water. It was right across from the festival. He was trapped by deadfall (tangled trees, branches and leaves and the body was held down until water movement along with body gases forced the body to the surface.

Well done, these Missing 411 cases are so fascinating. (yet horrific) If I could make a suggestion though, present some cases Paulides hasn't discussed in his interviews. As fascinating as these particular cases are, anyone who's into this subject has heard them before, probably multiple times. Cover some of the most baffling, yet lesser known cases, and you'll get the amount of subscribers you deserve brother. Oh, another crazy topic you should consider, the "Bridgewater Triangle". It's the area I live, and while I can't say for sure that ALL the stories are true, I've seen enough to know there's something really bizarre happening here, check it out sometime

The problem is that I can never know every single case David has spoken about. I was not aware he had spoken about Alan Lamers or the Flannan Isles for example. The same is true for other videos of mine such as the Manchester Canal Disappearances and the UK Disappearances / Yuba 5 / others etc
@ghostwalk24465 жыл бұрын
@@MissingVoidTV - That's understandable brother, I figured like most Missing 411 fans you've heard every interview Paulides has done. (I certainly have, lol) To be clear, I'm not trying to criticize your work at all, there's just so many bizarre cases in David's books that people are unaware of unless they've read the books, so it was just an idea. Your video on the Manchester Canal deaths and UK disappearances was the first video I watched after finding your channel, and I've been hooked, and subbed ever since. Anyway, I've got one more idea for a video. (trust me, you'll thank me for this one) This has got to be one of the most bizarre cases in the history of Missing 411, and not many people are aware of this one, the case of "Dr. Christopher Robert". Long story short, he disappeared only to be found dead on the side of a freeway. Cause of death - "Impact from altitude", with no place he could've fell from! You read that right, it appears this guy somehow fell from the sky! David mentioned this one briefly in only one interview, that I'm aware of. I'll be back to post a link. Here it is, the case I mentioned is about 38 minutes in. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hJmbiZhnoqdpoNk I would absolutely love to see you do a video on this one!
