Having watched Hat Films play (and not play) Worms for a long time, watching these guys and their varied plays is very refreshing. They vary their weapons and try things out, while Hat Films kind of keep doing the same thing.

Both are garbage tbh, WMD is at least better than Clan Wars. The series jumped the shark after WWP (though many say Armageddon because they were upset that WWP was essentially a standalone expansion). Team17 have forgotten how to make a good Worms game and you only faintly see them get some of the ideas right in games like WMD (that they still manage to mangle).

The problem with WMD comes from a lack of customisation, a poorly optimised engine (better than CW at least), horrid UI design (Team17, hire me I may be a uni grad with no work experience but I can seriously do better), fewer gamemodes, and no option for a "classic" mode without the weapons locked behind the crafting system. WMD makes some innovations, certainly. It's their best game since WWP, even. It still falls short.

I like the streams a lot , make sure to occasionally drop a few $ whenever I can catch them live , but Barry is just becoming unbearable to listen to ....
