I mean there no bad blood between the 2 unlike Wilder Aj where I remember Wilder saying "No more ducking no more Dodging.I know I'm the best are up for the test" both at there prime and everyone excited for the fight to happen than the fight doesn't happen, Tyson called him a "Body builder" so if you respect Aj he respects you, the Usyk situation was because he gave everything and lost

@@davidmole8299 more to the point it won't be "training" for AJ. Francis can't even box. So if people expect AJ who himself is 35 and needs to get a move on to achieve his goal before retirement, he doesn't have time to give away to help some else get slightly better to only get ko'ed by another boxer. and it's fake from AJ also. If it was real he won't be saying to Francis for rematch in future. 99/100 AJ KO's francis in a boxing match

Nah not now he just knocked him out, he wouldn't think if he trains him that Francis then goes "oh yeah cheers for that, now about that rematch" ... Valid point on how the ufc are in negotiations, the most ruthless scummy tactics on the regular. Most people don’t know beyond the base line fighter pay argument, but when you actually look into their little tactics, what they did to Francis when he was trying to leave and what they do to others, it’s disgusting.

maddest thing is i don't get it, when they were on the rise sure money could be tight but the profit margins are so high now I don't see why they can't give fighters healthy money without going overboard. Francis would thrive in the krunk gym with Stewart Hill because it's a gym that has you focusing on power and becoming a better boxer, and that's Francis strengths, Francis would walk the dog on wilder as long as he can neutralize his right hand he would beat wilder, because as crazy as it sounds Francis has learned more and accepted learning more than wilder has ever did in boxing.

Dana has said many times that they can't just hold a fighter hostage, they have to offer them three fights a year. The only contradictions to this on record are related to stipulations like, if they offer you a fight and you turn it down they may not have to offer you another fight for 6 months or so. It might also be the case that if you turn a fight down because you are injured, that still counts as turning it down and still leaves the door open for them to wait 6 months or so to offer another one. But ultimately, if you're actively fighting and actively accepting their offers, you can't be held hostage and you are typically getting about 3 offers a year. This is on record ... The fact of the matter is McGregor is past his prime, he wants easy lay ups and there are no easy lay ups for him now - not in his condition. He's gun shy after Dustin Poirier broke his leg. He also knows that all his branding businesses are fueled by ... well, his brand. So that's making him cautious about taking fights too, because he doesn't want to go out sad. He keeps lingering around, trying to keep his name relevant, waiting and praying for someone within his weight classes to get the belt who is a reasonably good stylistic matchup for him. Which isn't going to happen. Meanwhile, he's missing out on probably another 100 million worth of Saudi boxing money because he's too afraid to fight out his MMA contract first.

Wilder vs Francis of course would be a mega fight, but honestly Francis should watch his health, especially in his late thirties. The possibility of him getting knocked out cold are high, very high. Not sure if their contract has him "only going to boxing for a number of fights", or if PFL is flexible to let him finish Boxing first... but I think a deal is a deal so he might have to fulfill his promise to fight the PFL champ from that cross fight. Francis reportedly made 20 mill in a 2nd round KO loss... IN ONE FIGHT. The UFC couldn't possibly match that in his wildest dreams. Francis did the right thing in every possible way. They would probably pay him 800k tops in a win/lose barnburner title defence in MMA where just leg kick damage alone could hinder him for years to come. Who knew being knocked out in the 2nd round would be a bigger win in every way than staying around in the biggest MMA promotion in the world. Madness.

Makes no sense to me how Ngannou let Aj control the clinch when he doesn’t know how to mma clinch a lot of stuff were strange about that fight

Its like this, to master an art you must put in the 10,000 hours, Ngannou doesn't have that time, but what he does need to do, is get trained by an actual top class 'boxing trainer' (sorry Dewy) who HAS put in those 10,000 hours and more, and firstly would not have Ngannou switching stances to Southpaw against someone like Joshua (Rookie mistakes). also a top class 'boxing trainer' will tighten up Ngannou defense so he doesn't fall for the basic traps and get smacked with punches he doesn't know are coming. I think if Ngannou was trained for quite some months by a top class 'boxing trainer' then he would get Ngannou's defense more sharpened and work on how he can use his power in fights IMO. I also think Brian is right, get that Wilder fight, but get the proper training if he does

Hello Geordie, I love these videos but the cutting in the talking head segment is v distracting like let the shot play out instead of cutting tighter. Then to a zoom. It’s messes with your eyes bro Killer content though!

I think Ngannou should have a few fights with more approachable competition, especially after how the last one went. If he could get a W over someone like Whyte, Ruiz, or Dubois, he would be back in the mix. I wouldn’t think there would be a big market for a fight with Wilder after the AJ fight.

I think Cowboy would absolutely confirm what TG aluded to regarding a McGregor fight not being a spectacular payday for Chandler.

All celebrities should have a true friend who is honest enough to tell them the truth. During my youth I was a fighter. I had teammates who were champions, I also had friends from the movie and television world. I never had a problem telling them the truth even at the risk of losing them as a friend. Thankfully I never crossed that bridge. The Mac man needs a true friend or two.

I was with you all the way regarding what ngannou should do next until you said deontay wilder 😂. I'm thinking more a dillian Whyte . Come to think of it there aren't many match ups I see worthwhile. Id like the fury rematch at some point
