LOVEBITES - Set The World On Fire lyrics: The blue moon colors the blaze Stabbing myself with the thunder The predetermined imitation An emotionless and a fearless smile Flowing blood and crimson blade Devastated resolution Heat haze is waving far away Who’s going to be sacrificed? Nice reaction, thanks. I saw them yesterday in Paris 🇫🇷😊 my 1st time since I discovered them in December 2019 (Kind of a Xmas present though I didn’t realized it until a few months later) Yesterday they were incredible as usual, and I was particularly impressed by Asami, with her incredible energy and interaction with the public. I hope I can get to see them again soon 😊❤

Thank you for your reaction👍 I experienced a LOVEBITES concert (June 18, 2024 / Club Vaudeville in Lindau, Germany) and it was fantastic. I am also a drummer and HARUNA's performance was incredible. Her power, precision, creativity, endurance and acrobatics with the drumsticks are pure magic. Her playing often felt like a moving express train. When the band came back on stage for an encore, I shouted a name "HARUNA"!!! 💥💫🤘

Also, seeing as you're a drummer, you might like this short video Haruna posted on her Twitter feed this week... about a minute and a half of the end of Holy War/playing out the concert. Haruna/drums is only 4' 9" but she is a beast and scares even MMA fighters!!!! Midori/blond hair guitar is a bada$$ body builder but nonetheless I would never mess with Haruna (yeah the quiet type once again). The COVID venue concert and the band still rocked the place to the ground despite a dead crowd with restrictions. Miyako/dark hair guitar was 4/5 months pregnant at the time and still rocked out all night. Notice the many influences here, Slayer, Metallica, Testament, etc.. all blended into the unique Lovebites sound.

Thanks for supporting Lovebites!!

Hi, for more harmonized guitars I highly recommend band Helloween - Keeper of the seven keys in concert United Alive 2017 or their legendary song Eagles fly free. Old and new bandmates decided to go on together resulting to 3 guitars , one of the guitar players also singing together with 2 legendary singers. This band was one of the founding bands of European Power Metal. They create a wall of sound. I think you will like it. Edit: Eagles fly free was also covered by Lovebites and Tommy Johansson, If you want to compare the versions

I don’t think non-drummers can really appreciate how difficult it is to keep the snare drum offbeats that steady for that long and at that tempo. I’m referring to the verses and solo sections of course. You can see how dialed in she is. I jokingly say that she smiles during the chorus section because it is much easier! 😅 You should check out Shadowmaker live.

Good call on the nod to Holst, I'd noticed that as well, but I missed "Bolero" as I'm not too familiar with that one, at least I don't think I am. I'll give it a listen and see. If you like dual/harmonized guitar solos, Japan is definitely the place to direct your attention. Great bands like Wagakki Band, Unlucky Morpheus, and Galneryus often pair guitar with other instruments.

I take it that your remark that "wearing masks and social distancing isn't good for anything" means that you think the measures in place were not enough? I prefer to take it this way because I don't like to entertain the idea that you believe only praying helps, or something. You're too intelligent for that.
@teckreactions3 ай бұрын
All the data after the fact proved those mitigation efforts didn’t make a difference - and the United States CDC admitted that in 2023. I’m intelligent enough to read hard data. The assumption that “only praying helps” is a little shallow. Wash your hands, exercise, eat whole foods, increase vitamin C & D, get outside, sanitize, stay home if you’re sick. That’s enough.

@@teckreactions The CDC link please. You may have misinterpreted something in that report. A whole slew of other reports, among them from the Royal Society (the academy of sciences of the United Kingdom) confirm that mask wearing and distancing measures do help in curtailing the spread of infection (as is only logical).
