I found a beautiful but sad hula on my suggested list. I woman( a few years ago) was burying her six year old son. He always loved it when she would hula for him. At his funeral she did a hula to a lullaby called kiss you in the morning, before kissing him goodnight one last time. Her sister had passed not long before. She said that it gave her great comfort to know that they were together in heaven and that she would see them both one day. I bawled my my eyes out. Not only was it beautiful, but no mama should have to bury her baby!

Mahalo for teaching this hula! It is by far the most meaningful one I’ve ever done and it made me tear up while dancing because the movements matched the lyrics to the song and I really felt it. I hope you get to teach more worship songs! Aloha from California 🌺
