I am currently going through an overwhelming season where I feel far from God and far from okay. I feel so stagnant in this season of my life and behind in so many aspects- whether it's with university, family, friends, or just personally. It's been getting harder and harder to lift my head and express my true self but I've been pressing on and suppressing so much. I have trouble sleeping due to this heaviness and heart pounding with exam prep and pending thoughts so I decided to come on youtube and stumbled upon your video. The moment you started worshipping I felt a sense of peace wash over me and it felt like God was telling me it'll be okay through your video. Thank you for reminding me about what authentic worship is like. I now know what my 4am nights will consist of for the days to come.

I was in a similar season and what I realize is that I wasn’t trusting God enough to give Him the will of my life entirely. I was trying to manage my own life alone, my friendships, my education, my finances. There is power in surrending all those things to the Lord and telling Him that you truly trust Him. There is power in making God your real confident. He is your friend and He wants you to be authentic with Him, to tell Him your hardships, your fright, your sadness and even the goods in your life. Above all, He is a mighty God and a father, and every father is hurt when they know what their child is going through but their child ain’t telling them. I would suggest to take a moment to fast seriously. Cut all the distractions for a while and reconnect with God. Silence all the voices around you and open it more to God. He isn’t far, He is near, but you have to keep ur eyes fixed on Him to realize that or else your human eyes won’t see Him the way your soul does. Stay blessed and rejoice in the Lord again. Isaiah 41:10 Fear not, for I am with you; Be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, Yes, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

The message of that last song is so powerful! Even when it's difficult, we still choose to have faith in Jesus. The enemy will use the circumstance to cast discouragement and doubt, but we know that God uses every season of our lives for a purpose. Our God is a purposeful God. When we have an unshakable faith to really understand that God's ways and understanding is much higher than ours will ever be, the enemy cannot touch us! Growing up in a Christian household, I've realized that following God is a life-long commitment and learning journey. After all these years, I am now starting to REALLY understand what it means to trust God and surrender my understanding for His. We might stumble in our Christian faith from time to time, but Jesus is there to pick us back up. We can stand back up and have the opportunity to keep moving forward because of His sacrifice. I found your channel the other day, and I immediately subscribed. Some channels only mention God every once in a while but not you. As a freshman in high school I am trying to find my way and keep my head above the water. I've been in a constant battle with my flesh these days. One day I'm so on fire for God and suddenly the next day, I'm burnt out. Sometimes I also feel like I'm not doing enough for God, but then when you sang "I choose to worship," I realized that we can't do anything to make us worthy of salvation, for God gave it to us freely. Whatever we're made of, whoever we are, whatever we're struggling with, God loves us and is just constantly waiting for us to stay in His presence. He'll forever be in our soul

When i was listening to this video for the first time, i truly love how you played worship song at like your bedroom which easily makes me feel so home and i most definitely cried when the song was playing "Give me Jesus". Because from today i was completely hurt from a person that doesn't care for me and that we were in a relationship and it was the most painful thing since you really wanted to be there for them but they don't think about you no more. That's why I'm most grateful that i am able to find your video/channel since i needed closure for God. I'm beyond blessed that these worship songs have warmed my heart and this has shown how i most definitely needed actual worship music.

Thank you so much for this. I have seen this video on my feed lately, but chose to not watch it, but earlier I wanted to just dwell in God's presence, then I finally clicked on this one. Didn't regretted the decision. I've been going through a lot right, with university, and family, I just feel like everything in my life has been so chaotic while my friends have already gone and succeed in life. Don't take me wrong I'm happy for them, but I feel such a disappointment, cause I haven't even finished college yet, and probably won't be able anymore cause of financial insufficiency, I've been stuck on a feeling of lethargic, I know God, I know His promises, but I always tend to let Him down, thru my sins. I really wanna make it in life. Going this worship was such a blessing, reminding me of God's goodness, and its always our choice to strive through, despite the circumstances, to desire more of God, of Jesus, to die to ourselves, it wont be easy, but we are assured of His presence and His Grace will be going with us in every step, for He has already won us the victory on the Cross! This worship, especially the last song, its my first time hearing it, but it hit home, it reminded me to cling onto God, it reminded me of the Hope I have in Jesus. And I pray that more people who are in a similar situation like mine, would fine this video, and would be reminded of God's hope in this world full of change and hardships. Thank you Sam Reed!

Please pray for me I’ve been going through a pretty rough breakup. I knew him for almost 12 years and i always had feelings for him but never let him know because he would always talk to me about the girls he liked and I always thought they were prettier than me. Fast forward we got together last December and I was so excited but little did I know I would become the farthest I’ve ever been from God. We broke up a few times and got back together but this time was the last time and it hurts. Even tho I know it was the right decision I’m still struggling to understand why things had to go the way they did and I’m genuinely hurting so bad right now. I know God will bring me through this like he has with everything else in my life it just hurts..

Yes. And it will hurt for a while longer. Breakups are never easy. You had so much love for each other and you imagined your life going once certain way. You have to try and hold on to the doctrine of providence. That God is working all things for your good and that all these moments are placed by Him to give you an opportunity to lean on Him and to praise Him. Be kind to yourself!!! Your whole life has been turned upside down. There are so many Christian’s around you that will want to support you. Try and find them and reach out to them! God loves you and we all love you too! It will all be okay!

Praise the Lord! I was raised in a household where faith wasn't integrated and I started knowing Jesus about a year ago. It has been a rough road of ups and downs, however I am at the lowest I've ever been. I am in a season where I have felt so far from God and I know it is solely because of my own actions and decisions which hurts the most but I can't seem to find the motivation to change. I go to all the worship nights, all the events, but when it comes down to spending personal time with Jesus I have such a hard time with motivation and finding time. Tonight I decided to open KZbin (which I never do) and stumbled came across this video and felt pulled to watch it. I was baptized 6/17/24 and Goodness of God was being played in the background, and this hearing you open with that song hit me so hard. Thank you so much for sharing this video Sam! You have such a great voice, you are helping so many people and more than you'll ever know!! Thank you for posting these videos and serving Jesus by posting these for all of us. Appreciate you man. If anyone has walked this road and struggled with finding how to spend time with God as well as finding the time and motivation to do so, I would love if y'all could take a couple minutes to share some tips :) Thank you all!

Do it first thing and make a plan! Go through one book at a time and incentivise yourself, whether through having a coffee, making breakfast. Sit in the same place each day and make it a routine. That’s helped me for years! Let me know how you get on!

I also used to struggle to find the time and motivation to have time with him alone. It got to the point where I literally made myself do it. First thing in the morning, the first fruit of my day. It didn’t take long for it not to feel forced and grew to be the most precious time, sitting and reading the Bible, talking and praying to Him. The enemy will do all he can to prevent you doing this so stand firm . Put your armour on Eph 6:10 God has wonderful plans for you and you’ll start to hear from him and feel closer than you ever have before. He loves it so much when we put him first and spend time with him. That’s how we build the relationship and it becomes stronger. I will be praying for you. God is very good and loves you and that you got baptized! 🙌🙏
