I have a Boss GX100. It does absolutely everything I need for worship at church, and it does it very well. Great feel, great delays and reverbs. I run 2 drives, parametric eq, noise gate, 2 delays and 2 reverbs in a single patch no problem. $600 new.

Oh man you spoke to my soul right now!!! Thank you for addressing the guitarist's insecurity. Worship leaders need to be that! When we get lost in the hobby of guitar playing, I think we can gate keep the joy of worshiping with guitar from new players. We need more content like this!!!!

Great video! I have a couple of amp pedals with the voice knob. Blackstar is big into this. They call it a ISF switch. All the way left is typically more of a blackface fender-ish sound, whereas, all the way right is more plexi. You can dial in anything in between with the voice knob. Typically yes you get a little more umph and dirt the more plexi voiced.

I’ve been using the Caline CP-55 (Americana) as an amp replacement for well over a year and I love it. I may eventually replace it with the iridium or UA Dream, but the $40 pedal is hard to beat right now.

I met Chad when he was in Portland with Kari playing bass. He was so creative, really inspired me like no one else did. Followed him ever since. This guy is the real deal. I need more content from him

I apperciate this man. Not everyone can afford a 750.00 multi effects unit. I ONLY started playing a couple of years ago. My wife developed some health issues and we couldn't and STILL can't afford much. I still use much of the cheaper stuff I got. I think it sounds good though. Thanks for the video and it let's broke guys like me that the cheaper guitar effects can still can get a great guitar sound.

I’m currently using a Line 6 Pod Go as my main rig, but I’m considering transitioning to an analog setup. I have purchased four pedals from Boss: the OD-3, MT-2, CH100, and RV-5. My question is, how do I get started? I will be going direct, as I don’t use an amp on stage.

For the amp pedal, surprised you chose the KLine over the Joyo AC Tone at under $40. The Joyo is considered the standard for a cheap AC-30 character pedal. Gone side by side with the Tech 21 Liverpool in numerous comparisons, which is what these Ac-30 pedals are all based off of.

Yeees... AC30 mania.. is the same as the AC tone.. I would recommend you the Pressure Point compressor.. and the ANDES.. overdrive Boost... Great video..

I noticed a stereo output on the reverb. What DI is it running into? Is it also "affordable"? Is it passive or active?
@ChadoFax Жыл бұрын
I think the DI is as affordable as it gets. Passive and whatever was laying around the studio that day.

hi, great content ! i've a bugera infinium v5 and i was wondering to add a caline preamp to add some different flavout to it. what are your thoughts on that? would it work/workish? thanks
@ChadoFax Жыл бұрын
In my opinion and experience, adding too much color to the preamp side on things can sometimes get you in trouble. End of the day, try it! If your ears like it then who cares! Haha
