Iv lived here 18 years for last 5 years I have been going walking solo exploring metro manila and in the provinces as in any places there's bad and good places metro manila is alot cleaner now I have walked round china town and divisoria quiapo lots of poor people but they are the freindliest people,I have met very helpful even more happy to see you if you can talk alittle Tagalog. But like anywhere in the world be careful there's always some one may give you hassle . Best to walk away if you can keepsafe

Dont worry you're safe out there cause filipinos are friendly hospitable and are proud for the foriegners that are visiting our country but you also take good care of your valuables when strolling the streets we don't know others behavior. Every country we had bad experienced to take we also travel to other country and got dismay some of their culture.
