Sonic Zoroark It's great when you have everything you need. You have to have no cards in your hand for Infernitys effects. You can keep using effects having not to worry about having your field full and can't set/summon anything.

zht09's right. Competitive Yugioh in the early days revolved around beatdown strategies with La Jinn and Summoned Skull. Rush Recklessly was their Forbidden Lance, Man Eater Bug was Ryko, and Trap Hole was their Bottomless. They also had power cards like Pot of Greed, the discard trio, Raigeki, Solemn Judgement, all the banned Flip monsters, and Harpie's Feather Duster. Nobody played this moth shit in a competitive setting or they'd get their ass handed to them by Fissure, Change of Heart, and Man Eater.

DN admins agree that because the deck is randomized you should only banish the top card; when the top card is drawn you banish another.

Gnasni But the card is so meh though. The restrictions on it are way too severe for moths. I mean, you'd get perfectly ultimate out of your hand but it wouldn't be doing any damage, nor would you be able to back it up with anything all that relevant. Though it is a 3500 beater that can't be stopped by card effects, that's all it would be and at most it'd get over a BLS or an over 3000 monster you were having trouble with. That and it doesn't last that long on the field anyway. I suppose, it's half decent moth support but they could to so much better. Like making card with special from deck, search effects, or hell you could even tack pyro clock of destiny's effect onto some of their cards and that'd make them alright.

It can be very good, but I think AznEyes is specifically speaking about playing against or with it on the Dueling Network program, which would (apparently, because I use ygopro) require manually turning over each card or something along those lines.

I don't think you can use the way it works on a special program to call a card bad. If every card that's annoying to use on DN is one of the Worst cards, you could put Power Tool on the list as well. I don't think impractical cards should be considered 'bad'.

OK, so "Convulsion of Nature" is only here because of it's difficulty with DN, good, because it's effect is actually very good and it can have a very strategic deck come with it at it's focus. In fact, Anzeyes, why don't you try to make a deck with it using and abusing the advantages of said spell, it can actually be a little trollsy. :)

i love that card! i am playing it in my real life gishkis! it is kind of a waste because whether there is a gishki on top of my deck or not i usually still like to draw with zielgigas but it also shows me when to shuffle and when to not. it's also good in hazy flames because of sphinx's effect and it gives you the option to play hamon if you really want to. there is also a yugituber who is less of heard of ... i forget his name, but he has a lot of decks that use convulsion in them (like his convulsion of aliens). and technically azn's argument is invalid because DN rules say that you aren't allowed play a card that is annoying to deal with just so people will quit

If Sylvan becomes a deck, convulsion of nature is a great side deck option. It's not considered excavation under CoN because you see the cards of your deck.

Infernity Pawn can actually save you from milling to death as if you cant draw when you have no cards left in your deck then you wont immediately lose. But i cant imagine a single deck ever being slow enough to utilize that effect.

Can anyone explain me, why you have to banish cards with ''Convulsion of Nature''? The effect text doesn't even tell anything about banishing at all or even banishing cards facedown. If Gravekeeper's Servant was on the field with Dimension Fissure and Convulsion of Nature, cards with the combo would be still banished face-up, except the card effect of CoN tells so. All what CoN changes, besides of flipping the entire deck, is that the top of the deck for other card effects become the bottom, and the bottom of the deck becomes the top. That is everything.

On dueling network. 1. Play Convulsion of Nature. Wait for opponent banish his whole deck. 2. Play a card that make opponent have to shufle his/her deck (return a card to deck, special summon a monster, ....) Wait for your opponent add his banished cards to deck to shufle then banish all again. Or Activate MST and target your own Convulsion of Nature and wair for opponent add his/her banished cards to deck then activate another one 3. Repeat step 2.

On DN, you can just banish the top card since the rest is random (if you have cards sent to the top and/or bottom of your deck, banish them face-down and send them back in the opposite places first).

If you had been nearly decked out and you have that card in your graveyard you could actually bring the duel if your opponent threw everything out just to deck you out, because you can't draw so you won't lose and he will have to draw and deck out. Of course pretty situational, but wouldn't it be crazy if someone pulled that out?

My favorite deck using convulsion of nature is a trolly OTK with Reversal Quiz. Its not competitive in the least but when you pull it off its amazing. You need Reversal Quiz, a way to get your LP super low((Wall of Revealing Light is good for this)), Diamond Dude, and Lava Golem or some Volcanic Scattershot in your hand. Have convulsion of nature out on the field and summon Diamond Dude. Make sure you dont have a spell face up on your deck, then activate Diamond Dudes effect. It will sent it to the bottom ((top)) of the deck. At this point make sure you can deal enough damage, using Lava Golems or whatever. and then activate reversal quiz. It will send all your cards to the graveyard, including Convulsion of Nature ((and volcanic scattershots)), which will flip your deck back face down, leaving whatever card you put at the bottom on top. Since you know what card it is, you will call it correctly and exchange LP with your opponent, which then will be reduced to 0 by Lava Golem or Volcanic Scattershots. You can also use Deep Diver for when Convulsion doesnt work out, and Upstart Goblin is pretty good since you dont care how much life your opponent has since the objective of the deck is to swap lp.

Playing Eternal Duelist Soul reminded me of the abomination that is Dark Artist. The idea that someone thought that this card was too good to not have a negative effect is laughable. I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt, since it's a very old card, but when Dark Artist first came out, there were already 14 non-tributed monsters that could run over it. You know you suck when even an attack position Mystical Elf is too tough to handle.

You don't actually have to banish your entire deck for Convulsion of Nature on DN. That's just something trolls say to make you ragequit. Banishing your entire deck is functionally completely different from flipping your deck as you and your opponent can all see the cards of your deck now, in order, and then where do banished cards go? The easiest way to do it is just to reveal the top cards of each other's decks, unless cars have been placed on the top or bottom of the deck already.

You banish them all facedown. For gamestate you have to reverse the order of your deck. You banish every card from your deck, put them back in reverse order and play with the top card revealed.

The moths are a series one combo before everything and it's mother could special summon a 2100+ monster or was immune to destruction/ could destroy a card on the field. PUG Moth used to be on of the best cards in the game as it could actually destroy Blue eyes. Of course nowadays the moths are obsolete and bad.
