I think the reason why the bottle isn't filled up is because the foundation needs to be whipped not just mixed. It would most likely end up too heavy and dense without any of the air.

The first time they show you the foundation is only half way in order to test the color, then it goes back in to finish filling the bottle. Lastly, it has to go into another machine for shaking/blending. If they didn't do that for you then it would answer why the foundation didn't sit well for you. I just got this foundation last weekend and its gorgeous.

Sorry if that came across harsh. I took my mom to get it done and she loved it and our sales person explained the size of the bottle and I guess here in va we have a different machine which gives you .9 grams. And she personally likes the package because it has her name on it. I took her just to be nice and now she doesn't use her La Mer foundation anymore..

you didn't mention it but just so you know (if you didn't) and anyone else watching, its only .3 ounces less then a standard foundation (liquid foundation stuck foundations are the same sometimes less)

ah thank you! I think it was just the way that it seemed in the small tube and then how light the bottle is compared to their teint idole foundation!

Mikayla for your beautiful self, coming from a straight girls view haha, you should definitely get a YSL (Yves Saint Laurent) foundation. It's a french company of course, and I got mine for 60 dollars. Their products and foundation especially are FLAWLESS. It comes in the most beautiful packaging as well. The ink fusion one comes in 0.84 fl.oz. and 25 ml which is not bad at all! It's very light weight on your skin and natural looking yet it covers very well! Hope you give it a try.

You tube has tons of lancome videos. and I saw one where the guy hated it She said it oxides and after a couple of hours it is oily and ugly. he said $80.00 for less than a once. I saw a girl getting a hers done and the woman was saying that had no one coming in for this makeup. Until it hit Instagram. You know how that goes. It's just a fad then the machine will go in trash.

Patricia Garcia the oldest video i saw of this was 2015 so i guess it's been around for a while but other companies like Covergirl and Estée Lauder also do custom stuff. it was mostly the price point and how bad it looked on me that made me change my mind on it

Not to be rude or disrespectful of your opnion but have you ever thought it was the prep/ prime step that could have thrown you off. Other that that I would totally agree with your review because the packaging and how much product you get is completely untrsonable for the price point. I tried it and I had the same experience. So thank you for YOUR honest opinion.

Sarah Fisher when i went there they used the Lancôme prep/prime products and a brush to apply and i didn't like it in store, so that's why when i went home that night i used my Benefit porefessional and the Becca backlight primer + a beauty blender to see if that helped any and i still felt the same way about how it sat on my skin :( i really wanted to like it to, Andrew was the one who told me to take it back and not waste money on something i didn't love

It's 80 dollars and has cheap packaging? Yes that is a problem. That could be an extremely main problem. Why buy an expensive meal then eat it off of a dirty paper plate?
