@@speedy316uk Yeah, it’s kind of a loophole in their “no digital-only games” rule for WGE. It would be too easy to just download crappy asset-flip games from Steam, but they’ll play budget Wii and PS2 games like this even though they’re practically on the same level.

@@speedy316uk In the Wii’s case it was the massive install base creating a need for inexpensive content (see also the glut of terrible budget PS2 titles). Combined with the App Store creating a new and extremely lucrative business model, Nintendo’s previously strict quality control policies went out the window.

Weirdest thing about the flamingoes fact is that it's possible in humans to a lesser degree. Some vegans' skins turn slightly different colours due to over consumption of vegetables.

I'm positive the sensei living on an island was lifted from Dragonball. Muten Roshi trains two boys, Goku and Krillin, on a similar island. Their master is also a lecherous pervert, so your jokes about the guy in this game are spot on. This looks like one of those poorly designed games where it's harder to play the game than to do the thing in real life. Katas are a thing they really teach in karate classes. I took classes in the 90s and I hated these things. You're basically memorizing a series of moves in a specific order. I later learned that Bruce Lee did thought they were pointless, too, and did away with them in his own marital art. And then even later, I learned that Bruce Lee was a drug addict who died of an overdose in the hotel room of an actress while he was cheating on his wife. So I agree with Lee on katas, but I oppose drug abuse and adultery.
