This hawker centre in Singapore is soooo dirty! But I feel that this hawker centre's food is really one of the best in Singapore! In today's video, Angel is sharing with you on the best food that she found in the worst hawker centre in Singapore! This food centre is Seah Im Food Centre, located at exit A of Harbourfront MRT. But why is this the worst food centre in Singapore? It is because the place has been there for so long that it has no ventilating system. If the hawkers cooked with big fire, the place will be so smokey. But there are so many good food in this food centre! The food that Angel would like to share with you today are Char Kway Teow, duck porridge and chicken rice!

I bought her char kway teow from that stall before while going to that area for hiking. Her kway teow got that "wok hey" taste and not many can do that. Most stalls are selling nice food there. Not sure why this hawker centre is not renovating but anyway that hawker centre is one of the cheapest compared to opposite Vivocity. But many stalls were affected by the Heightened Alert Phase 2 and the dine-in limit, hopefully, more Singaporean can support our hawkers if they don't mind that place that might looks old.

Nice video and I do frequent that food center since 1990s, food are generally nice and cheap! Used to have more and better stalls but over time, many have left and no longer in operations. It's basically built to cater to the port workers (and transport workers) back then. Your clip is simple, straight to the point and "natural". Well done! Look forward to more. Btw, I come across your video via Sally, who have told me about your video about this food center. :)

Hahaha Seah Im hawker centre is "new" to me cuz it was built when I was a teenager... it was a "new" place for us to skip school and go hide 🤣🤣 Example of "old place" to me is CHOMP CHOMP at Serangoon... it was around when I was 2 or 3 yrs old, so it's old 😁 The local joke of why "dirty" place the food so good is cuz of all the "extra ingredient"... 😂🤣 Ok I am only JOKING, not true... all hawker stalls need to pass hygiene inspections to get their A/B/C certs.... they're likely good cuz of many yrs experience, so the skills very steady already 👍

Check out the Malay stalls food, one of cheapest sugar cane juice drink at corner near bus captains rest area, along the same stretch where duck porridge stall is, there are delicious food stalls too. Good selection variety for lunch.

其實新加坡的美食真的不計其數 可是因為土地小 侷限了很多的‘環境創意’ 咋說呢 就說同樣一個大廚做的飯 在不同的環境吃 他會有不一樣的賞味效果 新加坡屬於城市化國家 吃東西都在餐廳或咖啡店 要不就是小販中心 比較商業化 反觀鄰國土地夠大 餐廳可以選擇蓋在湖邊 瀑布邊 甘榜式 要多‘古早’就多古早 想像一下吃上一樣的美食 其實起著不同的化學效應與視覺體驗 很自然地 風景與ambiance添加了畫龍點睛的效果 想像如果新加坡也蓋了類似台灣一樣的台北夜市 parsa malam (固定）它是否會給我國的旅遊業加分 也順帶啟動了新加坡街邊飲食文化 純屬個人無聊時的亂想一通 非喜勿噴 😅🙉

Actually this food centre is still relatively clean in terms of environment, not factoring in the crows. Tables are still clean enough for me to put my phones and mask on it. Biggest problem is the heat and smoke filled air when u are not seated towards the open air areas

I do not know why this food center is the dirtiest as there are much worst off ones around and the problem it has (like the crows flying around) is a common problem most food centers or coffee shops are facing. :) Yes, the duck porridge/rice is nice. The chay kuey teow, have tried before. Yes, aunties has run the stall for a long stall and is relatively cheaper than similar stalls selling the same, it is actually quite ordinary and nothing special. The chicken rice and fish porridge stalls are popular too, always with long queue. And the Lor Mee/Prawn Noodle stall, facing the main road, near the duck rice stall is worth trying too. And of course, the Muslim food stall further down is quite good and like the nasi briyani! :)

这摊炒果条我吃过，不好吃。老实说，seah im, harbourfront 很多摊不好吃，我以前就怀疑为什么这里那么便宜，才$3? 答案：不好吃，难吃，超难吃。难怪很多摊一直不敢起价，都是$3，很失望

@@AN9ELHSU 以前不少攤炒粿條好吃...，现在虽然我还是一直有时全岛到处吃一下炒果条，可真的想不出来那摊好吃，可能就只能算是芳林熟食小贩中心的“欧南园”吧！（发现了马国新山就有几摊炒粿條很好吃。还是炒虾的，rm5.50,6.50,7.50）
