Lightning Pill They made the right choice to not use it but I can see why someone *tried* to get the cartoon sample/circus flow to work in the context of *the movie.* The song is thematically about strength but the movie was playful and cartoonish with its humor and action style. Bottom line, they chose to not use it...which proves to me that they realized that what sounded good in theory ended up being a failed attempt, so they went back to the drawing board. The redo was a success.

@stewieismyhomeboy8 жыл бұрын
In the 70s it was about women in law enforcement who were unappreciated at their job, so they left to work for Charlie as private investigators. This could work in the 70s, since this was during the second wave feminism and "sisters doin' it for themselves" era. In the 2000s, when the movies came out, they were supposed to be private investigators, but Lord help me if I can even remember what their cases were in either movie. Like, Crispin Glover was involved, I guess? Idk, the films did not work at a film or a feminist film. Almost all women are a part of the workforce, and sure, we might not always get respected at our work, but we have HR departments to help. The problem we do have is that we are treated less like humans and more like sexual objects, which, the Charlie's Angels movies do nothing to fight against. It's just an endless barage of "what sexy costumes can we get them in".

That's the problem though. KZbin is _filled to the brim_ with people who aren't part of a group, have no empathy for that group, and do not think their arguments through in regards to said group. These people have ruined it for the rest of us. We don't exist in some kind of post-enlightenment period where everyone is acting on good faith, and to act like we are is the ultimate sign of ignorance. Yeah, it might get annoying to see someone tiptoe around certain issues but it's far preferable to the alternative: having to consider braying jackasses as if they are legitimate.
