Worst MTB Ride in St. George, Utah

Today I wanted to tell you guys about the worst mountain bike ride in St. George, Utah. This is the last ride I would do in St. George, after I have exhausted all other options. That said, it's still pretty freaking awesome.

I've raced True Grit three times. The only time I've ever enjoyed Stucki Springs is when I went out for a fun weekend there. It's the hardest part of the race, but the one of the coolest rides in the area. For all the reasons that you described.

Asuna,......I am considering moving to St. George for the mountain biking. But I want to ride mostly flowy, fun trails with some pedaling and climbing. Are there may like this there, or are they mostly black diamond descending kind of trails? I am in my early 60's and dont really need all the black diamond stuff anymore. More concerned with maintaining fitness.

@@tonybasoni8443 It might be too late, but st george is absolutely NOT that place to go for flowy trails. It is the place for fun techy stuff, it has very raw rocky, low speed, high skill trails. It is my favorite type of riding, but I understand if you dont like it

@@ethanjolleyy ,....Thanks for your reply. I found out the truth of what you have said. Not a lot of flowy trails here, nevertheless, some really great riding. For me, at my age I prefer flowy trails where you can just keep going. Some up and some down. Not really into the all up and all down stuff anymore. I have a lot of great trails right by my house like barrel roll, sidewinder, stucki springs, rim rock, etc. Also, the road riding here is awesome. Thanks again.

@@tonybasoni8443 oh, its nice to see that you moved down there. I was just there visiting my grandparents over the weekend. I love the riding down there, and it is a super nice place. It is good to see that you found some good trails. One trail you could try is the desert canyons trail system, it has some pretty smooth riding and there isn't a lot of techy stuff. My grandpa rides it all the time because it is right next to his house. There are like 3 trails there and they are good trails with good views.
