Seeing the wood shaving hanging off of the pencil at 15:04 gave me PTSD flashbacks. I used a wooden eyeliner pencil on my waterline once and didn’t notice a small wood shaving left on it. It obviously got stuck in my eye and I ended up in the ER 12 hours later with my eye swollen shut and no feeling on that side of my face. It took multiple nurses and ophthalmologists to remove it after trying multiple types of eye flushes. Now I have permanent damage to my eye and more importantly, my vision. Absolute nightmare. PLEASE BE CAREFUL USING PENCIL LINERS omfg

They always do this with her! They make her lie down as if they're doing mortuary makeup! You've got to make you client sit, move, smile! And they always paint her yellow. My favorite of Judy's is when she went to a lady who made her look terrible, but was super sweet complimented her the whole time. I always make sure to compliment my clients. I do worry Judi will get pink eye or other infections

The only time I got my make up professionally done was for my wedding day. I had a facial and got my make up done . The lady was amazing and so sweet and told me every step of the process explaining each product as she went :) my makeup was flawless that day and I still remember her to this day.

Play pretend, imagine you and your brother started a studio of your own, and Judy D is your first client. It could be great. As for the makeup… the eyes were to pretty without the liner. I've showed Judy's videos in the past to my students to show them what not to do. The hygiene is the main point and the next big one for me is not telling the client to open their eyes and see the shadows and liners that way.

I'm glad I saw this because I'm guilty of doing that boxy brow/straight line type of thing with my brows (especially now with getting older, it's this almost unconscious urge to add more structure to the face). I didn't know you're supposed to put the brow gel first. I got my Anastasia brow duo delivered yesterday and it even instructs you to go in with the pencil FIRST then put the gel in. So these companies are telling us to do it the wrong way! Lol Would love to see you do Judy's face (or even your own) and show side by side common mistakes that we can easily correct. Or have a masterclass and teach better ways of makeup, I'd sign up for sure. Thx for reading if you've made it through this long ass comment! ❤
