I'm with you on the Gris Charnel. I tried to love it because it has been highly hyped up, but there was something about it. I just couldn't get myself to like it. I know it's not the popular opinion, but finally I don't feel so bad because someone else feels like I do about it.

Oh.. Perfumes are so subjective and we have so different “noses”, associations, memories connected to smells.. I really dont like a LOT of the hyped perfumes. Mostly I find niche/unisex fragrances to smoky, masculin or just weird 😅

When I first started buying perfumes, I blind bought full bottles of libre intense, l’interdit and very good girl based on all the beaming reviews (full price 😑) and I really dislike them all sadly😢 very headache inducing florals. These days I have a strict no-blind-buy policy.

I hate reb'l fleur. Its headache inducing and sloppy-smelling 😄 I have a little over half a bottle left because I tried with it.

Great video 😉💕 I’m getting the dirty earthy patchouli in the Vanille Royale unfortunately so I understand what you’re saying 🤦🏻‍♀️ maybe you should get a travel size of Milk Expressive. I think you’ll like that one better. It’s less woody and more creamy sweet than the Bold from what I’ve heard. I have Milk Expressive and I love it 😉

Yes I really do think I’d love the milk expressive and made a mistake getting the bold. Vanilla Royale has people smelling all kinds of stuff lol. I don’t get an earthy patchouli but I’ve heard other people say they do. Thanks for watching ❤️

That’s the beauty of perfumes, everyone gets something different out of it! 🙂 My husband loves Gris Charnel on me and I love Elixir! 😆 My worst blind buy was Hundred Silent Ways by Nishane. Major headaches with this one. Libre was also a mistake. It made me feel nauseous. 😅

I blind bought gris charnel also and thought it was too masculine leaning also so I got rid of it right away.

Yes, I know I'm very late to the disappointment party. But I enjoy watching older video's from you, so. To me, Ange ou Demon is the worst fragrance I ever smelled or owned. It was a blind buy, and definitely my worst one ever. I truly am repulsed by it. The only fragrance I ever smelled that was more horrible than this one, was Carre Blanche by the Zoo. But I did not buy that one, I only sampled it. Those two.... Wow. Literally turned my stomach.

I tested gris charnel aaand exactly what you said. The fragrance it pulls too masculine on me as well. I don't like unisex leaning masculine fragrance and this is one of those. I had the same feeling with byredo gipsy water, again nice fragrance but after a bit I smell like a man.

I love Milk Bold but it's more of a holiday scent to me (Marshmallow + Cinnamon) so I'm happy with a travel size. Fragrances are subjective we don't all like the same thing, it kills me how upset some ppl get lol. I almost got Rebl Flr but I'm so happy I went with other frags now so thanks! I get a lot of earthy patchouli/oud in Vanilla Royale but somehow it grew to a total love for me. Was shocked! Also love most Kayalis, especially Utopia 😍

True different taste as well I really feel that a fragrance chooces you even if want it and buy it it might not smell as amazing as someone else can pull off one thing that not alot people understand still so get sample always can't stress enough same money plus migraines that hype franges my stick like dirty socks and some people may love.

Good Fortune went from a hate to a love❤ I already have a back up. I’d love to hear your thought on Fenty…I just received my blind buy bottle and I’m not overwhelmed. This is so subtle on me and kind of weird. Milk is a no for me too and Gris Charnel is beautiful, I wear occasionally but it does smell like an expensive mens shaving cream🤍

I love Gris Charnel, and also love it layered with Kayali’s Vanilla 28 for a softer and sweeter take. Something to try if you ever get the chance.

Finally someone speaking the truth about Gris Charnel. I think a very small percentage of real world women would wear this scent (I mean non perfume junkies). My daughter said I smelled like the 15 year old neighbor boy that oversprays his cologne. Also agree with you on the milk. Very woody. The people smelling chai lattes and milk and marshmallows.. I don’t get it. Lol

I de cluttered love as well it was boring IMO 🤨 it’s the passion fruit that I can’t handle omg the only reason I don’t let go of soleil is because I get compliments 😂 I find it so basic lol this was so much fun I love to hear what others don’t enjoy in a fragrance even if they are popular ones 😉

Omg I absolutely LOVE Kayali Elixir 11 but I can see how the fragrance is polarizing. It is my favorite Kayali - right up there with Yum Pistachio Gelato. I absolutely love both perfumes

I can’t do fennel at all. It really bothers me. I also wasn’t a fan of Rebel Fleur. I get really good performance out of Sofia V Love, it’s really nice. I also really enjoy Milk expressive. Great reviews, we are all different and I really appreciate the honesty! Merry Christmas Jackie!!

Hi! New subscriber here. Just wanted to suggest a better, much more affordable alternative to TF Tobacco Vanille. I have Pendora Scents Charuto Tobacco Vanille and it smells so good. The notes are tobacco leaf, spices, tonka bean, tobacco, vanilla, cocoa, dried fruit accord, and woods. I absolutely love it. Good sillage and longevity too (I can still smell it the next morning when I wake up). It's my favorite blind buy this year. Actually, it's my favorite in my whole collection.

Yes, the cloves are so strong in Amber Oud tobacco 😅 So sad about Lalique Soleil… you described it pretty similar to how I experienced it as well. 😢 I’m still in the midst of experimenting with it but so far… it’s not looking good.
