Beautiful edging job, the clean up is looking great, a pressure washing job on the retaining wall would really make the wall stand out, I believe pressure wash first then fix the chipped/broken sections of Wall, as for the sidewalk, depends on the municipality, some will replace at no charge to the home owner, others may do a certain percentage between gov and home owner, just have to get with your local mayor/ city council

This is hard work! Who knows how long these lawns have been taken care of properly. Also doesn’t the city replace broken up sidewalks in your state. I live in Southern California and I guess bcuz this state is sue crazy lol the city is somewhat on top of it. I can imagine a good power wash on retaining walls would make them look like a million bucks. You might be in danger of breaking down due to all the cracks and chipping away. It's interesting how some townships handle sidewalk maintenance. For example in some townships, the municipality is responsible for sidewalk maintenance and in others it's the homeowner. Where I live, it's the homeowner who's responsible to maintain the walkways as a way for City Hall to save money on that kind of expense, I guess. We have lots of retired in my neighborhood so they aren't always physically able to do that kinda work, so God bless you guys for doing so a good service for your community.

Outstanding job guys, you have gone way beyond, for free, no less. Just wondering why the residents allowed their sidewalk to get to this point, unless they expect the city to clean it up. The whole block should be taking a nice donation to at least cover the gas, if not dinner. That whole sidewalk really needs to be redone, concrete all busted and broken. Perhaps now this will get the city attention to get something done, after you guys did all the back breaking job. Looking forward to see the rest of that sidewalk cleaned up. 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😉🇺🇸

Awesome job as always. Even cracked and crumbling they look so much better. Bless you for your hard work. About the foot edger is that what it’s called? I really need to find one of those. It would save my back a lot of work even tho I sharpen my square shovel every year. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis at 17 and have had both knees and hips replaced. I’m told they need done again since they are wore out (I’ll be 64 in March) My left shoulder also needs done since it pops out of socket a lot. Since I’m left handed I told them when it wouldn’t stay in the socket or I couldn’t put it back in easily anymore (been doing it about 10 years) they could replace it. Getting ready to replace the fence between me and the neighbors on the left side. It’s an old very rusty chain link fence and we can’t find chain link anywhere. I told them I was going to do it when it cooled off at no charge to them and that I would spray the old posts with rust proofing paint. I used a cheap fence last time and it only lasted about 5 years, the weed eater even cut it. I didn’t do the neighbors then. The neighbors cats take a short cut thru my yard, along with skunks and ground hogs. There are a lot of holes at the bottoms of all the fencing. My dogs (7 year old Rottweiler and a nearly 3 year old pit bull) love to catch any animal in their backyard. I’ve had to pick up some remains that I’m not even sure what they were when alive. And yes I waited until they did the by yearly property assessment. I figured it would raise both of our property taxes.
