"I EAT DIRT" is still the funniest line to ever be said in a movie trailer. Every time I'm reminded of it I can't stop thinking about it. I saw it in the theater during the previews and my friends and I couldn't stop laughing about it for some time. While LoK isn't as good as ATLA (that would be an extremely tough nut to crack for any animated tv show), I will say it had its own charm and cast of likable characters. Plus I like how Nickelodeon didn't shy away from the darker plotlines in ATLA for LoK and, if anything, toned up the darkness.

29:15 Klaus really took me by surprise. Apart from the beauty of the animation, Norm Macdonald was a treasure in this, and it has one of the best THIS SHOT shots in recent memory. The shot where the wood carving is revealed is amazingly powerful. In one brief moment, it explains EVERYTHING about Klaus: his reclusive nature, the toys, all of it, with no need for explanation, because they built up everything to that moment. But then they spoil that a scene or two later by explaining the whole thing for the kindergartners watching.

You can correct me on this, but the explanation I got was that in the past, people in Japan thought that it might help with those diseases that pertain to specific organs if you ate that specific organ. "Klaus" has to be my favorite from 2019, even with the you-know-what. Not only did it have breathtaking and unique animation, but it also had a very creative interpretation of the Santa Claus lore and enjoyable character interactions. I also really enjoyed "Missing Link," "I Lost My Body," "Toy Story 4," and the Rocko and Zim movies. Loved your jab at the "Lion King" remake btw

I'm glad someone finally saw how just amazing Promare was, even if it was just because of how intense the animation is. It holds a special place in my heart of showing how people's opinions can change over time, and that there's always 2 sides to a story. Also, the real world applications when you think about how the burnish are treated get really deep, and the fact that the cpr scene wasn't bait and can be seen as an actual lgbtqa+ story really just solidified my love for it.

anyone else think frozen 2 kinda repeated the first movie towards the end? elsa pushes anna away so anna pushes christoff away and anna ends up dying alone with olaf but then anna lives but olaf dies and then elsa is alone in a place made of ice and sings a song about embracing yourself and gets a costume change and then leaves that place to solve a problem plaguing arendale that she caused without realizing it, also why the hell would elsa even push anna away again like wasn’t the first movie all about how they are stronger together and their love is more powerful than evil or something

Elsa pushed Anna to safety. Elsa went to The Dark Sea, where her parents drowned. It's obviously not safe for Anna there, but Anna refused to let Elsa go alone so she was right by sending Anna away. If Anna had come with Elsa to The Dark Sea she would've died.

My favorite movie of all time is Frozen 2. The main plot points of the movie are Elsa trying to find herself, as she feels out of place and doesn't know who or where she's meant to be in the world, and showing the relationship between the two sisters. As a young teenager who is going through similar things growing up, and also facing anxiety and depression, this movie really touched me. I've had difficulties with accepting myself for who I am because of me being very self-conscious and how other kids are very belittling. I also absolutely loved all of the songs (Although "Lost In The Woods" was kind of unnecessary) and the animation was so beautiful and fluid. "Show Yourself" was where Elsa finally found out where she belonged, and who she was, which made it so powerful and emotional. Also, the deleted songs were really good too, and my favorite one was "I Seek The Truth".

Glad I'm not the only one who found the ending of "Weathering With You" a little... bizarre. I like the idea that the whole movie is just a big metaphor for climate change and how all of our small, ignorant and selfish decisions can have huge consequences. Having such an optimistic ending is crazy... though also kinda badass.

I think Makoto Shinkai's WTWY had a good message, but a not-so-stellar execution. My interpretation has always been that Makoto Shinkai is saying that the youth shouldn't carry the full burden of climate change. The youth didn't ask for climate change, just like how Hina didn't ask to be a sunshine girl, something that comes from the past generations. And Makoto Shinkai showed that the youth of today are definitely capable of sacrificing themselves for the sake of climate change, with how Hina was able to accept her faith and commit it to save Tokyo. Hodaka saving Hina is (in my opinion) Shinkai telling the audience that the Youth shouldn't throw their life away for things like this. Of course, he could've done it better, and have Hina or Hodaka understand that they need to take these burdens for future generations to enjoy what they have, maybe through one of the side characters like the uncle or old woman that Hodaka talks to at the epilogue of the film.

The one thing I didn't like about TS4 was the fact that the Greek choir of Rex, Slinky, Potato Head and Hamm had all of three lines between them. Even the throwaway girl dinosaur had more lines than any of them! Our mainstay comedy relief deserved a better fate than to be last banana in a film overloaded with comedy relief characters. Otherwise, fantastic movie, better than 3 in my opinion, and as good as 2 (nothing beats 1 though.) And don't worry about Woody - he's going to be just fine... (Also for the people saying Bo and the policewoman are a couple - they are OBVIOUSLY a buddy-cop duo. C'mon now!)
