Had the 023 for a few weeks now, replaced the bracelet for a black leather strap, have ordered the 027/sbsc009 white face version from Japan, love it and it’s become my daily wear at the moment, will be replacing the Hardlex Crystal with sapphire and possibly a non display back to reduce watch height. A lovely watch which will stay in my collection.

Your bracelets are my default for pretty much any Seiko I get since you always have the proper taper on them. Wish the BRAC-101 for this model was all brushed like the bracelet on the Northport though.

Love these Marc. I would have bought one from you (as I did with the release a few years back), but I had to go with the white dial JDM model! Should be here any day now (love the stealth black one too). While I suspect mine will live on a NATO or Erica's, can you confirm it is a pin only bracelet? Bracelet actually looks pretty good (I can size either but it is nice to know what I'm getting into). Thank you!

That's how you read the second timezone (the red GMT hand). The numbers on the bezel is the 24hr time of that second timezone.

I feel like the field watches should be thinner on the wrist. There is a chance for a new modding item to be sold, Marc. If you made thinner case back, that is.

The 023 is a really good looking watch. Not that big of a fan of black IP watches. Would like to have seen a rotating bezel and lumed numerals but neither is a show stopper at the asking price. I usually like to have a rotating 24 hour bezel on my GMT to get the full functionality out of the watch. Leave the 24 hour hand on GMT and rotate the bezel to the time zone of interest.

The inner 24 hour track is not necessary and the new Seiko 5 logo is just plain tasteless, other than that the watch is fine. There should be a rubber strap version.

It's not standard mineral crystal. It's Hardlex which is a "type" of mineral crystal but not the pure thing because it's been altered to be a proprietary compound that has better features than regular mineral crystal. Just calling it mineral crystal is not just inaccurate but misleading.
