The Worx Nitro 40V Power Share 20" Cordless Push Lawn Mower is not a gimmick. It's a battery-powered lawn mower that works! Not only does it work but it works extremely well! With the two batteries installed, I was able to mow my yard with ease. Recharging the two batteries that come with the lawn mower to full takes approximately two hours. For a larger yard, a second set of batteries can be purchased. To makes things better, the same batteries work with other Worx tools too! I was hesitant to switch from a gas-powered lawn mower but in addition to eliminating the need to purchase gasoline, it results in a cleaner and less-noisy lawn-mowing experience. I still have dust and grass in my eyes and nose but at least I don't have the gasoline fumes also. There are self-propelled Worx lawn mowers too but I've found this lawn mower to be easily-maneuverable. It's much lighter than the gasoline-powered lawn mower that I used to use and I don't have to bother with changing oil, filters, etc. #Worx #Lawnmower

I just replaced my 21" gas lawnmower with a 17" Worx lawnmower. I just used it on my small yard and my neighbors yard in the mobile home park and it did the job well. It is quiet compared with my gas mower and doesn't cause a disturbance for my 94 year old mother-in-law after the death of my wife 4 years ago. I was impressed with the way it cut through the gas. The batteries didn't even use a bar. The gas powered lawn mower went to a friend who lives out in the country and living on a fixed income at his age of 78 it was what he needed because his lawnmower stopped working. I like the fact that the batteries can be used on my other Worx power tools.

It’s definitely awesome being able to simply recharge batteries and mow grass. I no longer have to waste time and money driving to and from the gas station for lawnmower gas. It’s also great bot having to store gas at home. I’ve got quite a few Worx tools already and will be buying more. Like you said, being able to use the same batteries for multiple Worx tools is great!

i live on an extreme slope of beautiful st augustine grass. i don't have the option of a riding mower. i spent over $500 ten years ago on a honda self propelled thinking it would be a good one because of the honda name. it was made in china. it was the most unreliable and maintenance intensive thing i've ever purchased. i was so happy the day i set it out on the street. i took a chance on a ryobi 40 volt mower and i actually look forward to mowing my grass... best mower i've ever had. since then ive bought a ryobi electric chainsaw and leaf blower... they are all awesome and run on the same batteries as the mower. i love my v8 '79 ford f-150 and v8 1990 mercedes 560sel, and my gas powered motorcycles, but sometimes electric just makes perfect sense.

Well said! Electric makes sense for lawn tools and golf carts but not cars :)
