WOSPORT Multipurpose MOLLE "SPUD pouch" (SPIRITUS clone), Review

Hey everybody welcome back to another episode of Muddy Reviews, in this video we are checking out the Spiritus Systems SPUD pouch replica from WOSPORT. This pouch is definitely intended for Airsoft use but I honestly think it might hold up to more rigorous use but as most stuff out of China is sadly probably not NIR complaint or safe.
I picked this WOSPORT Spud replica up off of Amazon to test it out for the channel, to see what the SPUD is all about as I have played hell finding these in stock every time I have tried to get them from Spiritus. I am looking forward to getting a real SPUD soon to do a nice side-by-side and shift this guy over to my son or someone else but I am honestly pretty impressed overall for a repro pouch. it was 19.99$ USD with free Prime shipping and you can find it here:

Anyway, enough shilling I haven't had hands-on with a real Spiritus yet so I don't know if they used laser-cut cordura in certain areas where the WOSPORT did and I have a suspicion they did not and used a laminate like Ultracomp or something similar.
For casual LARPING or Airsoft, this is definitely a decent pouch as the stitching is decent but if you are going to be doing more advanced LARPING or deploying and NIR is going to be a factor I don't know if this is going to be it. I don't know if and have a suspicion that the m, material is not NIR complaint and will be a little "Glowy" under IR. I am fairly confident there will be some serious color shift going on.

I wasn’t expecting Sid’s dog (Toy Story 1) to be making a cameo in this video. 😂 With that aside, the pouch is quite interesting, I think I wanna give it a shot on slapping it onto the Venum-X chest rig, essentially having 3 of them, one has an open pouch whereas the rest are closed. Not sure about what patch am I gonna run-Oh, I think I know now, it’ll be a Girls’ Frontline one. 😊

@@Muddy_Reviews The 2 closed, 1 open mag pouch thing is bit of an inspiration from one of the Ember Elements from Black Powder Red Earth, I couldn’t tell which, but it came from one of the sneak peek concept art done by the BPRE guys as they’ve finally found a company that’ll help them out in making an animated series of the said comics which I am so stoked for. I hope the magazine pouch also comes in coyote tan as it’ll help blend in with my chest rig, as well as grabbing myself a TMC ATACR phone attachment thing.

$20 vs $55 at their cheapest isn't slightly. $35 cheaper. Which means if you're running three pouches, it saves you $105, which can be a whole new gun belt or plate carrier depending on what you're getting (Whiskey Two Four has a $100 USA made carrier that's pretty cool).

@bobdole234bd fair, you can find the real SPUDs used usually for around 30-35$ each. But the retial price of 59$ can be steep. I know about the WTF PC it's their slickster. You would still need to get a PALS placard to integrate into the WTF and run the pouches. Tactical gear gets very pricy really fast, and it comesndown to what you want and what will get the job done. The SPUDs are innovative, and their clones are decent, but you can just run a standard mag pouch for considerably less. That's why I review both "real" kit and repro to show options and try and help folks on a budget build a kit.

@@Muddy_Reviews Also, I'm seeing a lot of "Spud STYLE" pouches on ebay going for $30-35 but not too many used and real pouches going for that price. Maybe I'm missing them though.
