This video is a response to Jenn’s question a couple weeks ago. She asked is I would have converted if my wife wasn’t onboard. That’s a great question! Let me know what you think in the comments. Please share how you would handle this situation. Thanks for watching! I also just realized I am wearing he same shirt as last time. Lol!

I am a convert Catholic. God called me when I was 5 years old. Yes, I attended Catholic school and it helped me to get exposed to Catholicism. I met my husband in 1999, a strong Buddhist. He never wanted to be Catholic. I shared and prayed for him, showed him what I do, be active at church and in my community, and the more we expose him with love, kindness, compassion, he began to see and feel God's presence in his life. Faith is all about active participation in life, through action. He converted to become Catholic in 2007, and a very strong and devout Catholic ever since. We are so proud to be Catholic! Thank you for being a witness, Keith! God bless you and family!

People can be the best when it comes to convincing with all the beautiful stuff. But a heartfelt prayer to God is the most powerful, and it really hits different when we surrender the work to Him and continue what He commands us to do, let the Holy Spirit move in our lives. VIVA CRISTO REY! Shalom sister. May God's love continue to move in your lives. 🕊️🙏

Mo Jo Please answer who compiled the Holy Bible. Yes the things you just did mention are not in the Bible but the early church fathers did talk about them. You can’t just depend to the Bible which is inspired of Jesus I never denied that fact. As Blessed John Henry Newman an ex Protestant said *To be deep in History is to cease to be Protestant* You ought to be traced back in to history to be valid. Jesus did not create a book or said anyone can just have a personal relationship with me. Jesus established the *ROMAN CATHOLIC CHURCH*

@@mojo7495 Catholicism existed well before the Bible. During the Apostolic Age, several of the church Fathers composed letters that included the Bishops in line or today" we call "Pope. In John 20:21-23: Jesus breathed on his disciples and said to them to recieve the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven, if you remain the sins of any, they are retained. This was passed down to " Hundreds of years after, we call " priests" praying and forgiving those who are faithful. Who else will do it? That is why priests are formed as disciples of Christ. Mary is the mother of God and we honor her. She was assumed in Heaven and is alive!! We ask for prayers just as much we ask Jesus for his blessing and mercy. We also ask prayers to all saints. Why does everything stop if it's not in the Bible? The word Bible is not in the Bible. Or how about "Devil" "Armageddon" or "Antichrist"???? The Bible never mentioned Angels with Wings?!? Did it??!! Catholics pray, always, and we continue to pray and repent from our sins. Why is there a notion that everything stops after the Bible was officially formed?

Mo Jo too bad you haven’t read history or at least the church fathers, it would help you a lot to see further than all the sects that only cause division in the way of salvation. Yes Catholicism exists before the Bible, cause the church is the one that compiled it, church fathers the apóstles disciples in their writings show how as we now believe they did since the first years of Christianity.

Mo Jo the Bible says it, Jesus did many things that wouldn’t fit in all world’s books, Paul also speaks about the teachings that he showed, in letters and in voice, (what it means that not all of Paul’s teachings are in the Bible) and what would it be if the church didn’t decide wich books should be in the Bible? Did you know that many Christians in first centuries believed in apocryphal gospels (specially in Arabia) but thanks to the Catholic Church we know they are not the Word of God, just imagine how important has been the Catholic Church for all Christians even you

@@mojo7495 To understand the doctrine of salvation we cannot limit ourselves to some verses of the Bible while ignoring others. It is necessary to be faithful to the Word of God in its entirety. There are numerous passages that teach about salvation. Some seem, at first sight, to contradict themselves. That is why it is essential to interpret the Bible correctly, as taught by the Church that Jesus instituted. It should be clarified that the Catholic Church has always taught that we are Justified only by faith in Jesus Christ. He won our salvation with the merits of his passion. Our efforts would never be enough to save us. The Council of Trent confirmed the usual Catholic doctrine: "We cannot save ourselves but only by the grace of God." Please, Protestant brothers, take note. For an honest dialogue it is necessary not to distort the position of others. Pope Benedict XVI affirms: "Luther's" single fide "expression is true if faith is not opposed to charity, to love. Faith is to look at Christ, entrust himself to Christ, join Christ, conform to Christ, to his life, and the way, the life of Christ is love, so to believe is to conform to Christ and enter into his love, so Saint Paul in the Letter to the Galatians, in which he has developed his doctrine on the justification, speaks of the faith that works through charity (cf. Gal 5,14) "see quotation. The mistake is in opposing or separating faith and charity. Faith is not worth without love (cf. Gal. 5,14). St. Paul puts charity above faith. "Even if I had full faith to move mountains, if I have no charity, I am nothing" (I Corinthians 13,2,); "Now faith, hope and charity subsist, these three. But the greatest of them all is charity" (I Corinthians 13,13). While St. Paul taught that it is not necessary to comply with ancient ritual laws such as circumcision, Luther with his "only faith" goes further and pretends that it is not necessary to save any work but only to proclaim that one has faith. Luther had his favorite passages, rejected or changed parts of the Bible that do not support his beliefs. Some examples: Rom 3.28, the original Greek version is: "justified by faith" (pistei). Luther changed it to "Justified by faith only." He wanted to remove the book of James from the Bible because James 2.24 says "not by faith only." Faith is a free response to God's revelation that requires love put into practice. That is why the Church teaches, with Saint Paul, that we must work in our salvation. That work is inseparable from faith. So, my dear ones, in the same way that you have always obeyed, not only when I was present but much more now that I am absent, work with fear and trembling for your salvation, for it is God who works in you to love and act, As you see fit. -Pilipenses 2,12-13 St. Paul teaches the primacy of faith in reference to works, because works must correspond to what we believe by faith. It is not about multiplying works to our liking but of responding in everything to the will of God. St. Paul teaches in Phil 2, 12-13 that God works in the believer. But God does not work if we do not allow him. That is why Paul insists that in order to be saved, one must obey and work according to God. So not just any work is a work of faith but only those we do in obedience to God moved by the Spirit that acts in us. Notice that St. Paul writes to people who already have faith, have accepted Christ and have received the gift of salvation. But it teaches them that they must "work with fear and trembling" to save themselves. They have certainly received the grace to save themselves and God does not fail, but St. Paul is aware that we can fail and lose salvation if we do not work with the obedience of faith. (God) will give to each according to his works - Romans 2.6 We must act well -cf. I Corinthians 6.9 The incorruptible crown is not earned without work: "Do you not know that in the races of the stadium everyone runs, but only one receives the prize? Run in a way that you get it!" -I Corinthians 9.24. Paul himself, a man full of faith that he is, strives for his salvation: "I strike my body and I enslave it; lest I, having proclaimed to others, be disqualified myself" -I Corinthians 9,27. Santiago: Faith without works does not save Santiago warned about the danger of misinterpreting St. Paul, as indeed Luther later did.

I profess my faith and learned some much apologetics only to defend myself every time he was attacking my faith, I have been praying for his conversion during years but it does not come, but at least he let me serve in my church. Today is the day of St Monica and it was not a coincidence I found this video. This path is not easy but so far with God was possible.

Patrice Hanke I was a cradle Catholic and had just left the Catholic Church for Calvary non-denomination church when I met my husband a few months later. So over twenty years it wasn’t a big problem. My whole family is Catholic and I never became anti-Catholic. We started going to a Calvinist church about four years ago. Something didn’t seem right predestination, very anti-Catholic and other things. I have returned to my Catholic Faith and feel at home. My husband was furious and wanted a divorce. I told him he didn’t need to become Catholic and we shouldn’t fight about it. He has calmed down some and has agreed to get our marriage blessed in the Catholic Church after my annulment from first husband. Our 18 year old son is also wanting to become Catholic. I’m sure it pains my husband. I sometimes wonder if my husband is supposed to be the spiritual leader, if I am wrong not to continue following him. My marriage is so empty right now but I love my Catholic Faith. I only wish he would stop attacking my faith daily and actually accept me. I am not trying to hurt him. Prayers please.

My family raised me Anti-Catholic. I despised Catholicism when I was a Baptist. Then a Catholic met me one day, talked about the Eucharist, my online friend on a discord server argued with me and I decided to read early church history. A few days into Irenaeus' Against Heresies, the Didache, Clement of Rome and I already lost my malice toward lCatholics. Then Rome's supremacy started to shine in what I read. I thank God for helping me. The early church fathers truly helped me.

I always wondered how the spouses of the Catholic converts 'reacted', so thank you for this. Steve Ray's wife and Scott Hahn's seemed to convert at the same time their husbands did. But seems to me wives usually follow their husbands. The only female convert I know on YT who converted first/independently of her husband is the abortionist turned pro-life: Abby Johnson (happily, her husband came to the same conclusion when she shared her decision with him). By the way, my mother converted to Catholicism alone and as a 15 year old, of a large protestant family. She then married an agnostic man, my dad, who although was baptized as Catholic before they married, didn't go to church (only went a couple of times when I was under 2 y.o. because we had pictures of him holding my older sister and me at our baptisms). I witnessed how it pained my mom, raising 7 children in the Catholic faith 'alone'.

My wife left her first husband due to an abusive marriage and never knew Jesus during the 15 years of that marriage. We had been friends for years and I got her a job as a nursery attendant at our Presbyterian Church. On some Sundays, she had no children so she attended church. Once we got married, she joined the Presbyterian Church and became active. As I was learning more about Catholicism, I didn't say anything about it to her. Once I was convinced that Catholicism was right, I told her and she was a little bit surprised but was willing to go to Mass. One Sunday, she told me she had a revelation that God was telling her this was the Church. We've both felt the presence of God inside the Catholic Church, but never felt it at the Presbyterian Church. She's attending RCIA with me and excited. She loves the Mass especially the chanting. Thank you for your videos!

Thanks so much for doing this video, Keith. It dovetails very well with the prayer request I had left last week on your other video. In my case I am the stay at home mom of two young children with special needs, and my husband isn't only their dad, he's also our sole provider. My husband is a good father and a Godly man in many respects, but he struggles with anger and blame and as a result we have had some pretty big bumps in our marriage. I know that telling him right now that I want to be Catholic would not only cause a huge division between us, it could literally lead to the dissolution of our marriage (on his part of course, not mine), and I will not do that to my children. When I first realized that I wanted to become Catholic I reachoed out to the few Godly catholic women I knew and each one independently gave me all the same advice, to pray, to be the best wife and mother I can be, to trust God for a miracle. One sent me a abeautiful clip of St. Josemaria giving the same advice to ao young Jewish woman who wanted to convert but her parents wouldn't allow her to. So I truly believe that the Lord is calling me to wait, to pray, and to wait on His timing to tell my husband whats in my hearat and then wait more to see what will come of it. In the meantime I am leaning more about the faith and praying. Thank you again.

tony You need to turn away and run from that Luther created church that is the real Satanic Church that tried to destroy the one true Church that Jesus himself put in place. “You are Peter and upon this rock I will build my Church and not even the gates of Hell will prevail against her” No Luther in that statement. As a matter of fact Luther was psychotic and had conversations with the Devil. Read up on him I would never follow that human being shoot Calvin couldn’t either and all the other ones that broke away from Calvin and so on. WHERE IS YOUR AUTHORITY? WHO IS YOUR BIBLICAL AUTHORITY? You can’t answer that because there is only one authority it is the Catholic Church! Jesus put a Church in place not a Bible. There was no Bible for 300 years after the death and resurrection of Christ. It was the Catholics that put that Bible together and your Church tried to interpret and twist sacred scripture to your liking because they have no authority. The authority to interpret sacred scripture comes from the Church the Magisterium. Catholics are the true Christians everybody else is just lip service. Your alter calls have fancy guitars and sound systems our Alter call have the Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of Jesus Christ. You want a real “Personal Relationship with Christ” look no further than the Catholic Church. Oh what emptiness your Church is. You want to find Jesus go step into a Catholic Church. You need to learn how to read scripture try Starting with James, Luke, Thessalonians, and Revelation. No “Sola” there. You will be judged by your “WORKS” Christ himself said it. Don’t believe what your Satanic millionaire pastor is feeding you he just wants your money. At least my money goes to the poor, the sick, the hungry, and the lonely. Here’s a big slap of reality there is no rapture! Surprise! That was made up by a man named Darby just barely 100 years ago. Lol! And you believe him. What makes you so special someone coming from a mere mortal man inspired church and ignoring what Jesus started that God is going to scoop you right up and take you to Heaven at Rapture time. Seriously? I’d rather be left behind when Christ comes back. Read Luke where an apostle asks him “Master where Master” where do the ones taken go at the blink of an eye. And Jesus responds “Where the dead bodies are the vultures are” DOES THAT SOUND LIKE HEAVEN TO YOU? OF COURSE NOT. The dead in Christ will rise first and be caught in the air to meet Jesus on his second coming there is no third coming. Those remaining will join them, Christ, and the Saints. Now the others that have been taken well you know where they’re at. Read your scripture well and don’t let a self made pastor dictate your eternity. Go to a real Church the one Satan is trying to destroy not to worry my Jesus said it then and I believe it today no one will destroy Mother Church. We are the new Jerusalem. They rejected Christ but salvation came through a Jew for the gentiles. It’s when the conversion of the Jews into the one true Church the body of Christ the Catholic Church it is then when Christ returns. You are misinformed read up on the early Church and the early Church fathers. No Luther there. Only Catholics.

@@mojo7495 interesting statement. So if you feel to is not relevant, you throw it aside. But if iti s fine with your belief, you keep it. You people reject the plain reading of the text of John 6, especially where Jesus says so. In fact, to emphasize this, John used the Greek word phagos (Strong's Greek 5325) which means to devour. And when people understood it in the literal sense and started walking away because they understood it for what He literally meant, Jesus didn't call them back to explain to them that they were wrong. Instead, He allowed them to go without clarifying, as they knew what He meant. He even asked His disciples of they too wanted to leave. How do you explain this to support your viewpoint without spiritualizing it? When you say take the Scriptures literally, here Protestants take it in another sense. Let's hear your explanation. As for Mary and the saints being dead, I'm sorry, you are in error for you don't know the Scriptures nor the power of God. Not my words but those of Jesus. Mark 12:18-27 is an interesting passage. Do read it. The reply that Jesus gives from verse 24-27 is very interesting and supports Catholic doctrine. Those who die in Christ are alive, not dead. That's why Moses and Elijah were able to appear to Jesus at the transfiguration. Mary and the saints are very much alive and are following the lead of Jesus and are praying and interceding for us here on the earth. Hebrews 12:1 says so. It is speaking of spectators watching a race. While they cannot take part, there is nothing to stop them from cheering and giving advice. This is the position the Catholic Church takes on this issue. Do study the teachings of the Church without bias and then comment on them. God bless you.

@@mojo7495 you seen the conflate personal interpretation with official Church doctrine. There is a vast difference between the two. There are many teachings of not only Augustine, but most of the Church Fathers that do not concur with Church doctrines. So is it a scandal? No. The very fact that it is available itself means that the Church jas nothing to hide. Even the bad popes which many Protestants harp on as proof that the Catholic Church is the Whore of Babylon. In not only doesn't hide, these and other mistakes, but acknowledges them. In doing so the Church is following biblical principles. The Bible is the only book that documents both the achievements of its heroes and also their failings. This is to show is that it is not on our strength that one is victorious, but in Christ. The beliefs of many of the Church Fathers changed as it came in line with the official Church doctrine. But the official chirch doctrine has not changed. The early church taught and believed in transubstantiation, but coined the word and defined this dogma only when a severe controversy arose over this doctrine. Please get your facts in order. God bless you.

@@mojo7495 you are sadly misinformed or blinded to the truth by your brainwashing. Who said that all those things are necessary for salvation? Salvation is by the grace of God. Our works are necessary in order to show that we are bearing fruit in Christ, and not for our salvation. All Christians are called to do so. The entire New Testament is filled with many instructions on the requirement of good works and their rewards.Stop believing grandmother's fairy tales about the Church. And as for law, do you not know that we are called to follow the law of Christ? I suggest you read scripture to find out what it is talking about. The law which Paul and other New Testament writers were speaking about was not this law of Christ, or Church law, but the Torah, the Old Testament laws, which do not save. That law have never saved anyone, but was given by God so as to help one look in the direction of God till the coming of Christ. And as for things which you say are not in the Bible, Scripture itself says that it doesn't contain everything that Jesus said or taught. Scripture also talks about tradition and the importance of following it. The requirement of leaders in the Church is essential, and Scripture too says that they have an important job. We call them priests or pastors, you call them pastors and submit to them in the same way that we do. The only exception is that you people walk out of your church if things don't go the way you don't want it to go. That is unscriptural. It is called rebellion. God bless you.

I'm a choir member in a very charismatic non denominational church of about 3,000 members. I first began thinking about the Catholic faith when I was given a crucifix as a housewarming gift...a church member told me I should put it away because it didn't "accurately represent our beliefs". I displayed it anyway for the gift of love it was intended to be. Gradually I became more and more curious about different parts of the faith... the chapel veil, lighting candles, so on. Then about for years ago at the conclusion of an appointment a client said she wanted to pray for me and afterward she gave me her rosary. I told her thank you and explained I wasn't Catholic. She smiled and said you don't have to be and hugged me. I googled all I could find about the rosary and the prayers. I don't understand most of it but I do know that when I pray if I veil myself and hold those beads in my hands I physically feel closer to God. Perhaps they focus me and block distractions. I'd love to learn more and wish I had someone to talk to. Thank you for these videos, they're very helpful for understanding the practical side of the conversation journey. I know if I begin down this path my family will not be pleased, but I would more than anything please God first and most. Pray for me

I have four children born in the 1990's. My husband and I are both cradle Catholics and married in the Church but neither of us were catechized very well. The way the world is right now I wish I had known more so I could have helped to lead them better. They have also been more "sacramentized" than "evangelized" just like we were. Trying to be a better example now and being more involved in our Church. We got a new traditional priest eight years ago and things have really changed in our parish, but our kids aren't with us any more and neither are any of their former classmates. Their families left for somewhere more casual. I've learned in the past couple of years that some of the best Catholics are converts.

Thanks, Kieth! So good to hear that we should not push our family members to convert. My children were all baptized and raised Catholic (at least until their teens), but none go to church. Only 3 of my 9 grandchildren are baptized at all, and those in the Methodist faith. I pray for all of them daily and hope that someone, sometime will help bring them back “home”. Funny that when I wanted to come back to the church, I told my husband he didn’t have to even come with me, but just asked him to do what was needed so I could return to the sacraments. Before it was even done, he’d decided to convert himself after much arguing with himself and his old beliefs. So it can happen!

After 8 years of contention over my return I have been threatened with divorce numerous times along with separation. Sunday’s are the most contentious times, after I return from Mass it I catch it with both barrels. My wife refuses to learn anything of the Catholic Church and and states her disapproval in a multi-tone voice. So much for my whining, the contentious moments have caused me to dig deeper into my re-found faith in the Catholic Church.

I'm in a similar situation. I was born Catholic, baptized and confirmed. Then I left the Church in my late teens, went through several religions. Spent some time in Islam, then met my wife and joined her Pentecostal church. Now I came back to the church, I already made my confession and went to 2 masses, the problem is that nobody knows about it. The closesest people to me are my mother and wife. My mother was also Catholic but nowadays thinks very negativelt abou the Church. My wife is very dogmatic about her denomination, and once I told I didn't want to go to her church anymore she said she wanted to divorce. So my challenge to far has been to find a way to introduce my return Home to her, in a way she understands and accepts, and also that she takes it seriously, because she might just say I'm an undecisive person who changes his mind abot his faith all the time.

I hope that he will join me someday, but at least he's been supportive. I am so glad that I didn't have to choose between the Church and my husband.

I'm still going to follow Christ in the church that he founded regardless. And I made a promise to God and myself that I would raise my kids in the Lord. So I will make sure my kids know the Truth.

Your guardian angel was saying "Thank you Keith I am so glad you come home." I know someone that would leave their husband just to be part of OCDS (Secular Carmelite).

Two of my brothers married a non catholics, one of my sisters-in-law converted to catholicism, but the other one did not. Fortunately, she agrees to have their children baptized in a catholic rite. Sometimes she joined us in our rosary specially during the wake of my father. I think she would like to convert but her family is totally disagree and she cannot decide, my brother is giving her the freedom to choose. Now I don't know if I will pray for her to be converted or what.

One who lives Catholic lives fund's difficult to practice other religion I don't know why. I found people converted to catholism are more devoted than original Catholics.

It’s all about putting the truth first that’s it, since Protestant’s have been deceived for so many years it’s hard for them since also sometimes you can lukewarm follows in the Catholic Church also as a lot of them just sit on the Graces of the Church cause there’s so much grace within the Catholic Church it’s so easy for people just to relie on the grace and they eventually become lukewarm cause they get lazy to go to church as they should. It’s very a very sad reality with in the Catholic Church but that’s why I say always stick with the practicing Catholics, then it’s easier to understand things within the church and who’s good or who’s being deceptive 🙏❤️🙏

I was married in the Catholic Church to a cradle catholic for 15 years, converted, divorced, annulment, left the church. Fast forward 23 years and I am married (was away from the church that entire time). I am now returning to the church. However my husband despises the Catholic Church, and pretty much any denomination. He sees churches as hypocritical and full of charlatans. I want to go to communion, but cannot unless I can convince my husband to renew our vows in a Catholic Church. I cannot receive last rites should it be needed until he agrees to renew our marriage in the Catholic Church. It's sad that my eternal soul rests in the hands of a man who will NEVER convert (his hatred is palpable). Had I already been in the church, and knew his hatred for all christian churches, I would never have married him. But we have been married over 20 years, and it's not like I'm going to divorce him and leave an otherwise good marriage. 🤷‍♀

Angels rejoice for a single convert. There is this divine happiness that compels my soul to be happy too. The Good Shepherd will always look for the lost sheep. When He finds the sheep He breaks the legs and carries it on His shoulders. When you are converting you will fill that pain but don't worry Jesus is carrying you on His shoulders.

Robert Marmo my kids are ok with it, but they don’t come to Mass with us. They still attend Protestant churches. I’m happy they go, but I wish they were a little more open. I understand it’s hard for them. And YES! I do have an amazing wife!! Thank you!!

My mother never accepted my conversion, even as she was dying she argued with me. I feel it was confusing for her watching me join the faith she left when she became Protestant. However she never abandoned her believe in the Eucharist. Interesting.

Deborah DeGraw Wow that is interesting. How did she deal with the Eucharist in her new church? Did she think it became Christ’s body in her new church?

Yes she thought her new faith of Adventism believed Jesus became present and that it was not a symbol. I recall a time where I sat her down and explained that they did not and she refused to believe it. She would bake bread for their quarterly communion service and would "bury" leftovers in the ground because she believed it was Jesus!!

We all Catholics must begin reading The Divine Mercy Chaplet so Non-catholics accept the Truth. In our Catholic Bible, there are small descriptions written below to explain the core point of each Chapter @ Verses related to Old Testament. Somewhere it's written about those who do not believe the Truth deliberately could not be raised again after death. Well! Those who find Catholic Mass very boring are actually possess by demon whose job is to make people find faults and criticize in everything or aspect of living. Catholic Mass is a serious devotion to Holy Son of God. It's not a Rock concert where people are weaving hands in the Air and showing great joy. The real Joy @ Peace is inside of our souls when we Genuflect and receive the Eucharist with whole heart. Much to say, but can't say because talking to them is like hitting your head on the pole or wall 😂

@@TriciaRP Do what you feel to do! Many Born Again and others after researching and knowing historical facts return to Church. Read John Chapter 6 about Eucharist and study further Catholic. If not satisfied or have different theory or own perceptions then it's A-O.K and move on with your faith.

After being essentially an atheist for twenty years, and marrying a Baptist woman, in a Baptist church, I returned to the Catholic Church. My wife agreed to have our marriage convalidated, so that I could receive all of the sacraments. She has stated clearly that she has no interest in the Catholic church, but will support my decision.

I have a problem swearing to the Pope. I have a problem with praying for the dead. I have attended Catholic church for fifteen years as my wife is Catholic. I find it to be very dead within the walls. I do not feel fed. I am not saying the people are dead or that the church is wrong. I am not seeing an active church. We have attended multiple in our area and they all are the same. My kids are raised Catholic and I want them to feel the fire of the Spirit.
