Giants won't trade back because trading back is the right move. The NYG never make the right move. NYG will reach on a QB at #1 or #2 that is ranked 10-15+ overall on most big boards.

If they can trade back, add assets, and still get the QB (Cam Ward), then it's a brilliant and bold move. Look at what we gave up for Eli. Ben Rothlisburger and Philip Rivers were both great QBs in their own right, and we could have had either on the roster if Accorsi didn't covet Eli. (I'm not saying either would have survived in NY).

This was a really good conversation. What should be looked at is what veteran QB's (good veteran QB's) will be free agents within the next few years. If at least a few could be potentially targeted, then if we could get a haul of 2025 & 2026 picks trading down, then screw it and do it. Schoen has decimated the talent on this team. The first thing that needs to be done is launching his failure of a carcass the heck out of NY. Then let the new GM do the dealing.

They are taking a qb, especially if Schoen is lucky enough to keep his job. His seat is to hot to be trying to push drafting a qb out another year. Giants aren't going anywhere next year so might as well officially start the rebuild.

They can't keep kicking the can down the road....if Schoen stays, there is no way he makes a trade unless he only moves down to pick 2 or 3 for someone that wants to move up and pick Hunter or the Raiders are sitting at 2 or 3 and want Sanders. If Schoen (and/or Daboll) are staying, not picking a QB is not going to save their job. Yes, they need to build a foundation to support the QB they bring in but they can do both at the same time and also if you keep kicking the QB can down the road, eventually the foundation you are trying to build is going to free agent out. None of these QBs are perfect, but they never are. The waiting for Archie is also another thing I hear and that is not feasible. The Mannings are known to do their full 4 year college run and to try to manipulate your position in the draft he does come out could lead to another turnover. Just get the QB this time around and not get too cute. Getting cute is one thing that got us where we are now.

I honestly believe they will stay at number one and get a quarterback. Whether it this current regime or a new one. I just don't see them trading away a chance at getting a young quarterback and taking a chance that they won't be in this point again to do so.

I would trade down (hear me out) Cousins, Darnold or any seasoned vet could be a 2 year stop gap while we you can draft for other spots and see with a competent team. With that it is easy to evaluate the team and make it easier for the next franchise QB.👍🏾

I would trade down and get a QB that is better than these two like Justin Fields or even Cousins. Build the team and get the QB when it’s a good class. After next year either Darnold or JJ Mcarthy will be available. Jameis Winston better than these two QBs. Shedeur is like getting Tua or Dak . Very good with people around him but then you got to pay him like a superstar. Giants need new GM and coach. This team has so many needs. They are Not ready for the qb of the future bc o line still horrible.
