The handle leaking is either the sunroof or cab lights, on my 2018 250 it was the cab lights. My truck is a xl, no sunroof

I drive a 2019 Ford F-350 for work and drive around 400 miles a day and any time on the freeway and you hit it bump it would always get the “death wobble” just installed a dual steering stabilizer and it takes bumps at 70mph like a champ

Make sure you have plenty of tread on your tires. Bald tires can contribute to the death wobble

Definitely check the seals on your hd lamps you had installed. When you don’t get those factory on the truck, a lot of times the seal from where you drilled the hole will leak. Hoping it is something like this so that it is not a major issue for you!

That water dripping from the handle is most likely a leak from Cab lights, or moon roof. Possibly a door seal but cab lights love to leak especially if they did not seal them with silicone.

I usually buy new as well. Although, I bought a used 2003 Dodge 2500. It had 160,000 miles when I bought it. I was skeptical, but it was SUPER clean and was a great price. Come to find out the owner before me drove to Florida in the winter and parked it in the garage. Never hauled anything with it in the time he owned it. I got lucky finding it! Eventually I’ll upgrade to a new truck, but for right now, I’m glad I found a “diamond in the rough”

My dad has the A pillar problem too, he took it in and it is the seal on the back of the back window panel, it has been popped. His was from constant pushing on the glass. It cant be fixed without taking apart the entire cab. Essentially totaled, with all that need to be replaced and removed to get to the seal. The drain field up top was also clogged, they cleaned that out too.

I found out that changing my oil at 3K or so... on a 6.2L with Synthetic Blend oil 5W-20 with new oil change quiets the ticking instantly each oil change. I recommend oil changes every 3K-5K the oil will be dirty! At least that's my experience. The oil burns harder plowing & pulling. I run synth blend formula with the 6.2L.

Brian I have a 17 lariat ultimate with the pano roof too. It’s the rain gutters for the pano roof. The way they are made is that where the glass panels meet is where water comes in and drains thru the cab. If the drains are plugged water has nowhere to go except into the cab. Same thing happened to me. That’s the way they are made👎 They replaced both panels twice under warranty. Results the same! But if u keep the drains free of debris u won’t have problems. I check the drains every oil change. Otherwise, I love my Ford!

Good point about the truck prices. I'm an owner operator too and want my work vehicle to have all the creature comforts but when I look at new vs. used, the line is steadily being blurred when it comes to pricing. It's insane. I'll likely get a new one in a few years when they typically do their employee pricing again. Awesome video! Thanks

Water came out of my grab handles in my 2016 F150. I removed the handles and visors and peeled back the headliner. The drain tubes for the panoramic roof were completely disconnected. Have no idea how this happened. Connected them back together and zip tied them and no leaks since.

Your truck is to new and nice to be doing things like that though lol. And with new vs used, I’d rather spend the money in repairs and maintenance then a truck payment. Just depends on what you can afford and what you plan to haul. A 1500 is fine with a utility trailer and a mower or two. If you plan to pull an enclosed and 2 zero turns, a good 3/4 ton will be ideal. Wish you all the best.

Another great Video! I personally disagree with the used vs new. It may just be the demographic and area I live in. ( Northeris Canada) I bought a 3 year old platinum with 100,000km on it for almost 1/3 of what it is new. I see lots of truck that are 30-50,000cad used that are 80,000-100,000 new. The depreciation on a new vehicle just kills you for the first couple years. I bought a used 3 year old truck, for 60,000$ less than what it was of the lot

We have a small fleet with four F550's and one F650. The way to think about them is to realize that they are a tool and you will need to replace them. Otherwise, you're going crazy trying to fix them all the time when they get to the 100,000+ range... So we buy new and then sell them in just about 3 years. That being said they are work trucks and get no personal use.
