Machines will be performing jobs for pennies an hour (basically just the cost of initial cost, maintenance and electricity). This is no way for humans to compete with that kind of efficiency.

Any apartment that is priced at 70 million is overpriced. That kind of money can get you a 50,000 sqare foot home in L.A with a full view of the city. The words "apartment" and " 70 million" do not correlate in the slightest. Maybe worth 10 million in my eyes because it can view 2 historical buildings in the city

Jason 70 million dollars can get you a house and in some states, one large lot of land to boot yes, but California as a whole is actually still more expensive as far as cost of living than New York so if you can afford to spend 70 mil for anything, then it's truly whatever you want it to be. whether it be a family estate or a pied-a-terre to call your own. they make them because there's an exclusive market for them.

Way overpriced. $25 mil can easily get you a very, very nice top notch, jazzy contemporary Hollywood mansion in Beverly Hills or Bel Air of around 10,000 sq ft. While I fully understand and appreciate NYC properties are more expensive, still is hard to justify a penthouse costing close to 3 times the price of that.

funny you say that bc here, a lot of foreign money buys these types of places. Russians and Chinese are some key players in this market price range and they do buy and never even stay in it, so yes it will collect dust still even after it sells. And you're right more than most celebs cant afford this apt, maybe just a hand full like Floyd Mayweather, possibly Tom Cruise but even this would be a bank breaking purchase as the monthly taxes and building maintence are also going to set you back a month more than what most people make in a year. This is big boy money level.

Anthony Turner no way in hell. Because NYshitty is so over rated & overpriced , companies & people are moving to Boston anyhow. Boston area is exploding because of NYers realizing they could save a min of 25% of their income moving elsewhere .
@cordeliachase601

RTP hahahahahah Boston, yeah okay. Boston is a shit town with NOTHING to do and most people I know who went to school in Boston moved away. I'm from the NY area and moved to the Boston area. As does my boyfriends family who are from New England and half of his family lives out in NY. Boston is just as overpriced. You'll find a 1 bedroom home for about 4 million. You wanna know how I know that because my parents who are upper middle class tried finding a decent sized home out in the Boston area for 800,000 and and couldn't. The entire state is called taxachusetts for a reason. My boyfriends cousin who makes about 200k a year a pharmacist went to school in Boston and hated it! Wanna know where she moved to? New York City baby! How about my sisters best friends cousin who was Miss NJ USA, she went to school in Boston and when she graduated, she moved back to the NJ/NY area. Boston is a sleepy city, the bars close at 12, there's little to do, the roads are shit, the people are mean as hell, the men are ugly, it's extremely dark right when you come out of the city, it's not affordable. Babe trust me, I lived in Mass for several years and the NY/NJ area for half my life too. I know what I'm talking about. YOU do not! End of story. Have fun developing that awful Boston accent, it'll make you sound ghetto and uneducated. I'd even rather party in Philly than Boston any day. At least there's more than 3 clubs and there's no sports obsessed fat beer Irish wanna be guts hanging around. Bye bitch!

hey if you want to live in a sewer where the chief deplorable classless lying sociopath sewer rat came from .. go for it.. YOU CAN'T PAY ME TO LIVE IN NYC, NJ, OR PA. 2: GE, Johnson & Johnson, BOA, ABB, Morgan Stanley, and many Biotech & Pharma have moved OUT of NYC & NYC metro area due to the taxes, traffic , and cost of living! have or are process of moving to Boston. 3: Only idiots live in Mass , You see smart people live in NH where are there NO state income tax or sales tax on ANYTHING, The income tax NH residents pay to MA gets 96% returned to them thanks to an agreement between NH & MA. NH to Boston is 38 miles , 45 minute drive .... I paid $2.55 for super unleaded this morning in NH, In Boston it's $3.12, in NYC it's close to $4.00 or over. So yeah bend over and take it! Yes Boston is small , classy and clean , There is a lot to do , you just have to know what and where. Just because people are lazy and don't want to drive to do something does NOT mean it's a " shit hole" . Unlike NYC where you have to take a min of showers a day just from walking the streets ANYWHERE in that discussing city from all the smog, dirt, dust flying around. So with all due respect.... pull your he'd out of your ass before opening your mouth. Now if you want to compare taxes and cost of living.. NYC is #2 on the WSJ and CNBC list for highest cost of living and taxes, Where is boston? oh yes thats right #6 www.cnbc.com/2017/05/15/most-expensive-states-in-america.html and www.kiplinger.com/slideshow/real-estate/T006-S001-most-expensive-u-s-cities-to-live-in-2017/index.html so get your facts straight sweetheart because right now you look like an epic millennial fool.
@ryanp135

and oh by the way. FACT that NY income tax is 1.87 HIGHER, and NY sales tax is .67 HIGHER than " taxicusettes" , That isn't including the NYC income tax, NYC sales, NYC trash removal, NYC service tax, which makes your oh so great sewer rat city HIGHER than as you said " taxachusettes". Another FACT that CT income tax is 1% HIGHER , and sales tax is 1.5% HIGHER than what as you said " taxachusettes ". Again GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT before looking like a epic deplorable ignorant fool. If you want talk about homes... Here to you go... I have 5100 sq feet, on 2.87 acres, 4 car garage, geothermal heating and cooling, solar electric power, radiant floor heating , post and beam contemporary home, that is will be 3 years old , it cost me $778,750 to build it , property tax is the ONLY tax I pay which is on house and cars , house property tax this past year was $4180.71, Which includes trash pickup, water, sewer and twice a year I can put anything on the curb and they take it way . So again, your ignorance shines again.

If you can afford a $40 million appartment, you can afford a $70 million appartment. Your average billionaire couldn't care less about $30 million anyway, that's what he spends for a small Picasso painting while living in a $20 000 a week mansion in Monaco.

For $70 million dollars, you can buy all 5 of the most expensive homes currently for sale in Atlanta, and still have enough to buy and fill a 10 car garage with whatever you want, plus pay all of your bills for the rest of your life.
@smileychess

Same amount would buy you a home on thirty thousand acres of land in Idaho that includes a river, lake, a huge forest you can make tons of money from timber. It includes a working profitable ranch, and land that's zoned for residential development. Anyone who has a spare 70 million dollars to spend is probably smart enough to know that cashflow land is better than a 2-story apartment with a view.
