I loved the last scene with you and your team, backs to the camera, sitting on the grass with the glorious sea before you, hoodies on, and you congratulating them for their work, as they tucked into your fabulous cooking! It was very touching. I felt like I was watching high cinematography! BUT NO, it was a real tender moment of authenticity!

Hey Gaz, wanted to say thank you. My oldest sister had a brain aneurysm in February. After being in the ICU for months she had lost a lot of memories and struggled with eating. Once she was home my parents struggled to get her to eat for a month. I made her your plantain salad one day and she ate the whole thing and loved it. Now my whole family makes the recipe. And my sister is eating better. She said wow where did you get the recipe. She’s doing better now. But thank you for the inspiration.

@Cosmos Poppies so hard to say but I think the vegan 100 as it has so many staples for example making your own plant based milk and sauces like ketchup aswell as some great food recipes. Hope this helps :)

I’ve made the scallops with the sea foam, truly amazing but nothing blows my mind like the watermelon tuna. The poke bowl from a previous video is like nothing else. These steaks look fantastic and I can’t wait to make them!

This man loves a challenge and the sheer talent and beauty behind these recipes along with the details and the variety next to the shoutout to conservation and activism makes me not only sure I’m going to make at least one of these for my family and watch the documentary but that I’m going to recommend both. I made the watermelon tuna tonight and WOW, super impressed! It's not just the only tuna that's dolphin-safe, it's also ocean-safe! The texture and flavor is mindblowing. I'm definitely going to make this when I want to impress a bunch of people.

They make windbreaks for cooking outside like this, you can even get a whole folding camp kitchen that has shelves and a windbreak for the hobs and shelves for prepped ingredients. That might help if you decide to brave cooking in pretty locations again in the future!

I ust say, I have never been into any of these original, non-vegan dishes BUT I feel like I will be absolutely trying the fish cakes :D They sound absolutely AMAZING! Also, I love the outdoor setting! These cliffs in the background...just incredible! I can tell you, these shots were worth the wind and the screaming birds! I made the watermelon tuna, and OMG!! It is mind blowing! Everyone that tried it was amazed also. It really tastes like tuna, just a little sweeter. Thank you Gaz for bringing sashimi and poke bowls back into my life!!

I've never eaten real fish so I have nothing to compare these to but they look really awesome. That watermelon is utterly perplexing - must try it.

Gaz, when I lived in Italy, I could find flakes of seaweeds of Bretagne from France which I used to sprinkle on pasta and risotto dishes. In the past, I used to live in Japan so I ate tons of nori, konbu (to make soups) and then fresh seaweed salads. Nori and kombu have a very peculiar strong taste, however, I found the fresh seaweeds the most enjoyable because of their slightly sweet and gentle taste not as pungent as nori. Once back in Italy, I totally missed the taste of fresh seaweeds because we, as Europeans had never had the tradition of eating them until France stepped in. I'm pretty sure you have them growing in your area too but just to try, check in natural shops if they have them dry. They taste great, please try them! A big hug. 😁😊💖😜😀🙏😉🤗😄

This will def help on my journey, being an island girl seafood is the hardest to go without. Salmon, oysters, mussels etc. Lots of Vegans use a lot of legumes and I'm allergic to legumes

I made the mashed potato jackfruit fish cakes and they came out amazing. I first put them in the air fryer for 20 min then pan fried them. So I didn’t have to use very much oil. Thank you for these ideas! ❤️ all you do and say hey to Ollie all the way from Texas.

This video is sublime! I live in an area of the UK that is frankly a gastronomic desert, so I sadly have to resort to online shopping a lot, but there's so much I CAN get hold of, this all looks lush! Incidentally, Gaz, darling, the mix is a marinaDe, but you marinaTe the food (in this case, the watermelon) in it... Huh, English language, eh? Lovely recipes, definitely going for the books!! In New England codfish cakes a comfort food. We used to have them with Boston baked beans on Saturday. My son like to experiment with vegan comfort food and he makes decent fried clams.
