I totally understand the frustration with these changes and all the nerfing Bungie does. I myself am upset because I grinded for God rolls in IB only for them to nerf the weapon. Not only this season but every season before this one. Here is the thing we got 3 choices. Voice our frustrations and hope Bungie listens, play the game, or just quit it altogether. There are way more upset players with the changes than happy players. If we all just quit and these numbers go from 10k to 3 or 4k trust me Bungie will panic and Sony will be at there throats. So if your unhappy with the game quit it and go find something you enjoy instead. This year will bring great games.

Right now you have Warframe, Dynasty Warrior Origins, and Ninja Gaiden Black 2,. The point is there are games out there. If anyone is unhappy with D2 find something else until they put some stuff into the game that you want to play. Trust me I'm not happy myself with D2 but I rather play other games and not get upset with a company that really doesn't know what direction they are going as of now.

You know this is exactly how I felt about helldivers too All them hours spent and then a week or two later boom The weapons you just paid for useless same thing happens in Destiny but there's so many weapons in my vault that new things become available that weren't before things that I had previously grinded for hours to get but I'm also pretty lucky I usually get a God role usually within the first two or three tries

Been gaming for yrs and in my experience any game that has a PvP option in it sucks. Cause all nerfs are based off of the performance in pvp and the pvp sweats crying bout certain weps and such. And if your like me i dont do pvp so pisses me off that my stuff gets nerfed in pve cause it was op in pvp. Good games are setup to when you go into pvp the stats on weps n gear change instead of nerfed everywhere

See as somebody that uses the edge of intent religiously the changes they mentioned actually kind of scare me because it sounds like it's actually going to be a Nerf a heavy nerf. Let me explain so currently the way that it works the edge of intents rested if turret is not distinguished from the speaker site restorative turret allowing it to work with touch of flame giving it restoration times too these changes sound like they have distinguished it meaning it would no longer work with such a flame which honestly just means the edge of intense rest of turret will no longer grant restoration times too which is actually a pretty significant nerve. I'd have to see how these changes actually play out but to me it sounds like it's possible it could be a bad thing.

I don’t think they’re taking away the synergy with Touch of Flame. The real reason these changes will be a catastrophic nerf is because they’re doubling the number of hits it takes to charge the special shot on all the glaives from 3 to 6, which will effectively cut the power of all 3 glaives in HALF! Even with the tiny compensation buffs, it’s gonna be brutal, and you’re only gonna be able to get out half the number of turrets that you used to.

I'm usually a fan of buffing things to give them more use. I remember in Borderlands 3, right at the start people would use Torgue to detonate things with their gimmick. Haha, that lasted a day or so into the game, and then....nobody wanted to use Torgue weapons. Never fixed that. The best reload for Tediore had homing projectiles that actually worked. So they neefed the homing, and not the others targeting adjustment to have them viable. Forcing you to deal with the others or not at all. The constant urge to nerf stuff gets insane. They get mad that everybody would use Scouts in PvP and sit back, so they neef them so nobody uses them...pretty much. Then the keep making pulses better at scout range and then get mad you aren't using other pulses. Nerf and Buff and go, "Hey, why does everybody loathe Scouts?" -"Um, cause you made high powered single shot rifles into "long distance bugger pickers."

Unfortunately, this theme is the main reason why I don’t actually get addicted to this game. The lack of power of fantasy in the weapon collecting system means that it only really matters within the first couple of months when the new weapon comes out. If I miss that window to have any feel of power fantasy, it’s going to be completely nerfed. Instead of them reinforcing that so you want to stay playing the train and shift the model so that you always have to be grinding new content and unfortunately for me that just chases me away because I know anything that I work for is gonna get wiped away.

It’s sad that the exotic class glaives are getting nerfed into the ground, but no one uses them enough to realise or understand. For the uninitiated, it currently only takes 3 hits to charge the special shot, and Bungie is about to double that to 6, essentially cutting the power of these glaives in HALF! And yes, you can now stack it with melee hits too, but it’s still going to take longer to get 6 melee hits than it takes to get 3 projectile shots now, plus you’ll be in a much riskier position to do it. All things considered, even with the tiny compensation buffs to add verb synergy, these nerfs are going to absolutely gut the class glaives and I hate it so much. I actually liked them.

Love that bungies idea for “fixing” the game is to blend releasing everything at one and weekly… cause that’s why players are not playing lol. I find it funny how most people are crying regarding the Speakers sight helm and rocket sidearm nerfs it's actually crazy. So this Speakers sight nerf have barely any impact on solo play given you're the only target and 9/10 times you're using the turret when you've taken damage anyway. In team play it may be a bit more situational if multiple people are damaged. However it really isn't the be all end all of nerfs like come on. People are really acting like it's been hit with the 2015 Auto Rifle nerf in D1. Rocket sidearm are another thing. OK so they're making it so to make the most of it you have to be accurate with your shots rather than thinking you've got PHD and shooting the ground when surrounded as a get out of jail card. I can understand the frustration but it just means you have to rethink how you use them. The one argument I can agree with is the substantial nerf against bosses, vehicles and minibosses. 30% on top is a bit nasty but I always saw rocket sidearm better for champions and majors. Also, the patch isn't even live. How does everyone seem to know if they're dead? They won't be. Slightly Worse yes. Still usable with a different attitude to them? Yes.

one thing i wished from destiny and the creator community aswell is, that the whole thing isn't as geared around english anymore. everybody that plays that game in their native language, literally doesn't have the same names for their exotics, and it should be easy for bungo to add a picture of the gear piece they're talking about, next to the text, so that everybody could easily know what is being talked about X( but eh, we know bungo hates actually streamlining things XD

ursa furiosa did nothing wrong. the amount of super energy you got back on unbreakable was worse than just eating an orb. unbreakable was the only thing that made it useful outside of raid content because using sentinel shield with any less than a full 6 person team is a waste of an ult.

People bitching rocket sidearms are getting nerfed. You shouldve taken that into consideration with Bungie's track record. You know why i didnt hop on the consecration train as a titan main? Because I knew Bungie would nerf it. Thats why im looking for an alternative to thunderclap now. Because with consecration nerfed the chances of it being the next one shot titan gimmick that people abuse just got higher and higher. Thats also why im not gonna stay on the bolt charge train for long. Cause i know that titan aspect is going to be shipped strong and nerfed later. It happens all the time. Its how bungie is. Played D1 regularly with my two sons when they were younger. Took quite a few years off and came to D2 a little over a year ago. I don’t really mind the intermittent buff/nerf cycle as it prompts me to change up my build/weapon use making the game new-ish. Just started playing PVP in the last two months, so again, new-ish for me. Wish they hadn’t sunset some of the early seasons as I’d like to play those now. It’s too bad that so many are negative about the changes, but theyve probably been in game for longer than me. Maybe some day I will feel the same. But for now, still having fun.

I get the fact it's easier to Nerf and Buff as well as create some new weapons. However, I worked hard to get the Unbroken Title as well as all the competitive loot! To see Redrix's added to the loot pool again seems MEH! I'll continue to play because Destiny is one of my hobbies. I think it's time to think about Destiny 3 - Revamp and start again, bring in new players and have us OG's start again as well vs. re-skin, nerf, buff, etc. Oh, I always read the TWID hoping I built my guardian correctly prior to knowing - still like your updates Kackis, appreciate

I’d say instead of worrying about nerfing weapons and all how about working on your game Bungie . I expect Heresy to bomb just as bad as all the other episodes. The quality and depth of the content has been piss poor since Final Shape . What’s really crazy is this game could be number one in gaming . They just continue to screw up something that is so good. The new dlc’s will really determine if this game will survive right now it’s on life support

For me, the reason for coming back should be because the game is fun, not some tedious chores for some weapons I'm most likely not gonna use because they probably aren't going to make them craftable as well. Unfortunately with how Bungie has been doing their game right now, it's not been fun for me.

They have already said that crafting should be a way for people to have a chance at the God roll if they couldn’t get it to drop. Eventually, the crafted rolls will be capped at tier 3 (enhancing perk columns 3&4) While random drops will be able to hit tier 5 enhancing everything.
