Today's video was another idea that I wanted to bring to you all and see what you think. A lot of my viewers have been asking for some weekly highlights from the past week of streaming, or for me to post videos such as this one when crazy things happen. I wanted to get all of your inputs on what you think about this and if you'd like to see more highlights from the prior week in addition to all of my other weekly guides!!
Today I show my FASTEST EVER SM Cath and Armory 1 pull which happened on stream last week. We cleared BOTH of the instances in 7 minutes 35 seconds. We went so fast in fact that Ice Block was on cooldown for Armory and I had to come up with a different way to live. Let me know what you guys think!

@@arlaeus9491 this may be a good video-series. "what do I do different than the pros", then maybe comparing your first run with your 10th with your 100th, then letting them go all at the same time, so you see the actual difference a good jump can make!

@@billnye273 you can do sm cath / am arms both in one pull and it only counts for 1 reset. you can make over 100gph by boosting guys during these runs charging 5 gold or more per run.

@@billnye273 so you sell the runs to other people who want to get lvs between 21-42. it's server dependent, but I can sell these runs if I wanted to on my server for about 10g/run.

Great video! Like I said before these pulls are so satisfying to watch. My level 21 mage is jealous. Oh, an idea, can you do a video on the different leveling spots for mages and back up spots for AoE spot? That would help aspiring mages like me get to 60. KZbin should really promote your channel because your content is so relevant. It’s the best one out there for gold making imo.

Hello! Would like to ask from you! Would you recommend to use duo Freezing Bands for aoe farming? Apparently i have 2x of them (not equipped yet), i dont plan to raid with my mage, only aoe farm SM / Mara / DM. So would be better to use them or should i use int+stam rings instead? Thank you

Honestly I wouldn't use them for the farming. The proc with the freezing could mess up placement. That's also a lot of gold you just get real quick, so personally I'd sell them and pick up some frost specific rings and nature specific resistance rings.

I would say that between the 1 pull SM cath and armory and Mara that Mara is easier to pick up and safer in the long-term.

Hey Arlaeus, what would you think of a speedrun-youtube/twitch intern record hunt? After seeing your videos i picked up this farm again, and after 2 days i started to time my runs, and from time to time i get under 7:35 - 7:32 is my safe all on one. would like to stream it and maybe put it on youtube, maybe we can develop a niche with people challenging themselfs in speedrun. wqe just need some rules to time it. i stop timer as soon as all mobs were dead, rememberd the mana, started to loot --> aoe till i got back to the mana, take back up timer, and walk cath/arms it's incredily funny to challenge yourself like that! MY tip: ake magic resistance potion right before you start your run in cath. you get 50 free resistance (potion is like10silver), and the run takes over 2min, so eveytings ready again=)

The videos are good, I wouldn't mind seeing a highlight of aoe pulls from your stream. My only advice is to turn off your fan if you're going to do cam in post. The spinning shadows make me blink the whole time I watch it lol.

Hi MindCC! Unfortunately that could be a lot of factors such as the quantity of sorcerers that spawn vs. myrmidons and defenders etc. So that's likely due to just which mobs I have. However, I get the reset issue when everything is pulled.

So you have two options, restorative potions or trinketing it (pvp trinket). If the first, make sure to iron grenade or nova or something bc it won’t go off for 5 seconds

Arlaeus do you use lower ranks for less mana cost ? When I pull group I can only cast two nova three cones and one flame strike followed by one or two blizzard then I'm oom. But here in Cath you use I think I've saw five fire blast two counter spell four nova two blizzard one flame strike lost track on arcane explosion. So is it lower ranks ? Is that what I'm doing wrong?

Have to say I don't think this is the fastest clear. Maybe solo. When I was leveling at launch on the incendius server, I was pushing warrior. I took a group of 4 mages in. I was level 43 and the rest were sub 40. I ran from the start of the instance to the final boss and pulled him, every other mob in the zone pulls. The mages quickly Nova while I am already spamming demo shout. I zoned the mobs during Nova and keep pushing threat. We kill the entire thing. Probably took less time, but I'm not a KZbinr so just take it as what you want * Edit before the inevitable flaming begins - my mage friend unlocked the cathedral door as I was pulling the first half *Edit - watched full video after commenting it doesn't appear you pulled the second half of cath *Edit - club music remixxed from the movie blade music starts at 7:40

Haha love the edits. So I don’t pull two groups in the back of cath correct. If I pull the boss he can’t be cc’d and is a major pain. My goal is to do this run over and over as fast as I can so they cause some issues. I believe it that you went faster! This was for a solo pull record but has also been beat by a number of people! It’s fun challenging everyone to do it faster and faster :)

This is my tactic that I use for all of my runs, and it's a highlight from my stream. I wasn't really going for a world record or anything, moreso just having fun in the stream! :) I skip the side packs in cath because a decent number of the mobs will reset and they cause more harm than good. The last hallway of armory is similar in that there's extra defenders who sometimes don't make it all the way to the end. This would probably add about 10-15 seconds for the two additional parties which would still be under 8 minutes!

Hey man so you might have a lot of higher levels in the group! The way that experience works in a dungeon is based on the average level of the group, scaling with some modification for group bonuses to keep it at a relatively consistent rate. That being said, if you can keep your average level in a good target range you'll optimize xp. Also, the optimal group size is typically 4 :). Glad that you've been able to experiment with both though!
