@@Nijumiproduction yeah dude, a minority of players should be harassed because their job is to stream a game. If a game is super toxic and I don't like it, guess what I do? Quit. If the game is toxic for peoples who's livelihoods reside in playing that game then guess what they do. Keep playing because they have no choice (obviously they could quit, but quiting a job a person has invested heavily in and really enjoys is basically not a choice). Toxicity and targeting is a stupid thing to defend anywhere. Why even make the argument toxicity is good when by definition it's toxic. I'm not even saying that the Ooga gang are doing anything wrong. They are doing it for publicity and notoriety. They aren't acting malicious, in fact, they are providing a sort of pseudo-social commentary on the whole matter. That stream sniping *is* okay if done in moderation. Notice how they don't target a specific streamer, and camp them for 8 hours? Notice how they try to get into every streamers stream even if they cant kill them? Notice how they coordinate well to add to the wow factor of whats happening? That behavior is not indicative of malicious intent at all. It's part of the reason why people like them. They are literally content creators at this point that don't take credit for their content.

@@MasterJohnam Sure, but there have been multiple instances of one or two of them dying in their gank attemps vs warriors so far. They aren't there to just outright kill every single one of them as fast as possible. They typically try to mess around with people a lot if they feel they can. There is a reason they are no longer taking chances in more recent warrior ganks. Retaliation can rack up some very quick damage when used in conjunction with a guaranteed overpower. Get a couple lucky, early crits and one goes down.

Do they camp though? If it's just a gank I would run back, res somewhere more or less safe and keep going. But if it's camping it would be more problematic. Of course i want these obnoxious streamers to be camped right out of the game. But for regular people I would avoid doing this myself and hope that others wouldn't do it to me, at least not too much. Still, this is what I use alts for. If I think I'm being camped I just log on an alt and do a couple of levels instead. Then relog and see if they are still there. And if they are, back on the alt. They can waste their own time, but not mine.

It makes sense as it would be an epic marketing ploy. You have streamers getting sniped, making reliable content which is awesome and will be all over youtube, making folks want to play even more, just to get the chance to encounter these guys in-game. Regardless of whether they stick around or fade away into legends, every old-school vanilla player will want to be a part of the historical experience. Pure genius if correct.
