8:45 if you struggle with wall jump, you can ignore it and run along next to the wall, at the far end is a pot, you can hide and reset behind, it makes for smoother 0% chance of messing up Make sure to be dismounted before you get to pot so you can position behind it you will see the mobs stop you can move around a fair bit also to LOS if needed you can hide until they reset then edge out to the left very slightly, remount and continue on your way , after pot you mount up run directly at the mobs and go thru arch (you can jump turn to avoid dismount) running straight line bugs them out sometimes idk why, on left side after arch there are a set of blocks visually similar to the ones he mentioned in 9:00 you can reset there wait and hide, remount and continue your way, you don't necessarily have to do this, and its way slower, to reset for 2 packs, but if you struggle it will guarantee 100% to get to the graveyard hope this helps someone! happy levelling :) edit: watching video again, 9:59 you know how i said run straight at the mobs to go thru arch, you can see the mob runs a weird path away from wall before its like "hey oh i need to chase him" that happens most the time so running straight line directly at them, so avoiding any hits, can turn jump also if needed

Thank you for this great video, just a few tweeks I found as progressing. Found it optimal to go in at 42, ( died alot at 40 ) brought a high stam plate set to run to the back. Bombs do not work in BoP or bubble, use Sappers or Grenades. Awesome work as always thanks again!

you can aggro the first scarab in the hall as you approach with a consecrate and jump through him with spins to avoid getting dazed and use him to kite all the others through the room and back.

When you do the back and forth jumping from the long side of the wall to the other side in the beginning to stack the mobs, make sure to stay on the inner side of the 'shorter' wall. If you go to far to the outer side the mobs walking below can hit you somehow. However I noticed this before prepatch and on a mage, so not sure of relevant this is now and/or for a paly

another suggestion from me (sorry for spamming your comments :D) you can keybind "interact with mouseover" on your scrollwhell and just spam scroll while hovering the graves. that option can be found under keybinds -> targeting. made it much more comfortable for me

Also my addition - at 47-48 lvl u can go to The Temple of Atal'Hakkar and get Chained Essence of Eranikus, its easy in-dungeon quest but u will have an really good extra damage for farm, worth it (50 dmg every 5 sec for 45 secs, 15 min cd)

Its WAY harder actually getting INTO the GY than it is to do the actual pull and kill phase... I had to abandon it at 42 even with the BIS gear and ardent custodian with full defense skill cause i couldnt help being dazed and dismounted on the way to the GY... I would recommend minimum lvl 43 and have around 2k HP or you will die on the way to the GY.

Doing it at level 40 rn, no worries , my tip is - use shadow resistance aura , and pop swiftnes pots - bubble to safe spot if u get dazed

The only thing that I find difficult is to avoid getting dazed.. even though I strafe they still end up dismounting me most of the times. And when it comes to the "safe" spots on the way, I've never found them useful. Its impossible to get out of combat to mount up while standing in those places at level 40

The reason strafing midair juggles them is because you reset the mobs pathing to the ground that you're jumping over. This makes them try to run down to you at the ground below.

This is NOT worth doing @ 40 if you're solo. It's incredibly difficult to get to the graves, i went to check his vod on twitch to see how he manages to not get dazed all the time and turns out he just cleared it with his mage first.... Really clickbaity to call this a 40+ solo zf strat. EDIT: Came back at 41 and it's doable, would strongly recommend for anyone reading this to start at 41 at the lowest. Got half a level for 1 run!

just grinded 8 levels as a warlock in zf today, it's definitely a very viable farm. took me about 15 minutes per run with a 20-30% experience yield (unrested) for a single run. went in as deep affliction, however tab target dotting all the mobs isn't that great, at least not if you want the mobs not to drop their exp timer. rain of fire is your main spell, occasionally you toss some siphon life to regen health and thus mana. make sure to position your imp somewhere so that you can dark park from anywhere on the ledge. getting to the gy is a breeze as well as a warlock, just look up some videos on how you should do it. if you struggle a lot you can use double sacrifice in between reset spots. later on you won't need sacrifice at all to reach the spot. having instant howl is great as well just in case you get dismounted. all in all, warlock is one of the best classes to solo farm gy next to mage imo.

if u stop hitting them for too long, the xp will lower to the amount of their remaining health, so if u get them all to 50% then don't hit them for say 15 secs +(not sure what the exact amount of time is) then they will only give 50% of their xp when u kill them.

Exactly, thats why you drop a rank 3 first and then a rank 1 so you wont run out of mana and keep them damaged. If you dont do damage to them constantly then you will get less xp.

Okay, here's what I've learned trying this strat over the past few days: Don't bother. Saying this can be done at 40 (or even 39?!) with any consistency is just clickbait. Even if it is faster, this isn't worth the frustration. I spent about 3 hours (over two days from level 40-43 after going out and questing again when it became clear 40 is all but impossible) and made it into the kill phase a grand total of ONCE. Notice I didn't say just kill because something dazed me once I got them to about 60% and I was instantly dead to crushing blows from 15yds away. Unless you want to spend hours getting dazed and dismounted before you can even kill anything, just go quest. I can knock out a level in a little under two hours questing or in the same time I can die 10 times because a mob halfway across the instance swung their staff and dismounted me again. If you do make it to the pull, get ready for some guaranteed dazes and crushing blows through walls even if nothing is near you. The spin around to face them just doesn't work. I understand the logic and game mechanics behind it and on paper it should work but as far as I can tell if you have any sort of latency issue then the animations and attacks are not synced so you can't time the turn in any meaningful way. Let's not even get into leeway on top of that. Obviously, if you can no life it for hours you'll probably get decent at it. If you're just a normal person with limited free time then the time spent getting to the boss room and running back from the graveyard negates any increased leveling speed in my opinion. At least I'll turn a profit selling all these consumables to some other gullible paladin.

At 42 it can be a struggle to get there because of the agro range of mobs (this is much much better at 44-45) but you also don't need many runs to ding at 42. Definitely strafe jump as much as possible and chain them. If you've never done this before it can be helpful to have a friend who can resurrect with you so you can quickly try a few times (with a 70 your XP will be ~1/3). Really helps the learning curve of the jump back to practice it under pressure. I found I was most consistent with a high camera angle (near vertical) and aiming to touch the very edge of corner of the pillar.

Also, for the scarabs, it's not as clean a pull, but if you don't have swiftness potion (and you have 3/3 poj) you can use judgment and make a very wide circle (almost hug the wall) to pull them all.

It takes around 100g to start for the gear, pots, consumes, dynamite and not to mention youll prolly need to respec. On the reset spot where you got stuck for a second and dazed, I find that holding down “w” (forward) through the jump never gets me stuck. Pretend you are gonna keep walking through the wall. Of course I’ve done this about 500 times now so maybe my muscle memory etc is just fine tuned, but ever since I started holding forward through the jump, I’ve not gotten stuck there once.

@@lithin3567 you can try to get the cheapest "of stamina" plate gear from AH, or anything with stamina on it and use that set to get there, then switch to SP/Int for the kill phase, you will have less bag space to loot stuff, but it's better than not getting any loot/xp anyway

After the recent update this week, I'm sure this is bugged because i did this on my druid and hunter (both at 41-42) and the first few mobs gave around 700-800 (different amounts) and the rest of the mobs after the first few died. Only gave 1 to 400 xp for each kill and yes it was random amounts. Some gave 87, some gave 122 and 1 mob gave me 1, just 1 xp lol. I send a bug report about it but im sure this is bugged now after update and yes i was here solo too. Unless it doesn't work with hunters or druids at 41

I believe there is an xp reset on mobs. So if you go too long without doing damage to them it resets the xp that you get based on their current hp. So something like if they go too long without taking damage and they are at 50% health, when you kill them you get 50% xp?

On paladin page people theroised that getting 300 Defence eliminated potencial of being dazed with the changes to defence - it being rating it seems to scale betterat level 40, so getting that might not be as hard For scarabs -couldn't you use oil of immolation- mount up, agro initial scarabs and then just rounde um up still whiel being mounted? ( after checking swiftness potions are probably cheaper) - or same tactic with explosive sheep( you get agro from the boss or patrol to triger the sheep

Yep, I have 330 Def as 42 with stacking random of Defense items and never been dazed. I just run to the GY and pull the first graveyards.

anyone having an issue when opening the second set of graves, the first couple of graves you open just randomly start attacking you instead up going up to the platform where the boss is. so it's been extremely frustrating....

reset spots behing boxes works don't work so much with caster mobs, they keep me hitting me with their shadow bolts until I die

That happens when you don't damage mobs for a while. Their experience resets to whatever their health is as a %. So if they're at 20% health when you reengage they'll give you 20% experience for example

Okay so the thing is if he just runs that is FINE let him path, he will eventually leash back and reset himself. If he summons the skeleton totem that is when you have to reset.

If you invite someone to your group, and they invite your alt. Couldn't you toss them lead, they toss it to your alt, then you reset? Circumventing the need for a 2nd account and the 2 minute wait? Or am I missing something

If you're willing to spend a lot of hours perfecting the run to the boss room and enduring the RNG of immediately getting dazed on your mount this is great.
