4:02 Frozen runes are not used to obtain tier 3 gear. They are only used for the frost resistance gear.

Just watched monkeynews spend about 2 hours surfing the Auction House for BOE green frost res pieces so he has 150 entering Naxx on launch. I'd definitely look into getting some FR while it's still cheap.

Like always a very informative Video. Thanks for that. But one point i would take more deeply into consideration: as far as i know, does the magic resistance potion also not stack with druid buff (druid buff also not stacks with aura or totem). So you only gain about 25 additional resistance instead of 50 if you are in a group without aura/totem. So considering the shared cooldown with other potions the value of this potions is not so big in my opinion. As a healer i would always pick the cooldown for manapot. Otherwise you really have to time the preparation for this fight: I would say about 3 minutes before the fight pop a frostpotion, 1 minute before the fight pop the magic resistance potion so you are safe, that you have about one minute in the fight to pop manapotion or another frostpotion. Then you would have about 2 minutes of the magic resistance potion in the fight. Thats for sure better than nothing, but you have to time it.

The head piece drops from Gyth in UBRS all have a random resist enchant, so 1/5 to get frost resist. Those would be great to pick up, especially if you don't want to overwrite your ZG head enchants on your T2 helm with the Icy Guard enchant.

Magic Resistance potion doesn't stack with Druid Mark also :(

I think it stacks with Druid buff, but it doesn't stack with Shaman totems nor Pally auras

If you DO have MotW & NO totem/aura in your group, then use Minor Magic Resistance Potion

Then you ignore this advice. I am. So much gear you get in Naxx that is BiS requires a lot of expensive mats. This video isn't really paying attention to how most AH playing works, especially with ingredients and resist gear. Much easier to farm and bank and buy beforehand then panic with everyone else upon announcement and be sad when an ingredient that used to cost 40s a week ago jumps up to 4g apiece. Especially with bots being around with herbing and Blizzard doing nothing. I played the official PTR last week with my guild. That is a sign that it is coming up soon, likely January

Looting a frozen rune locks you to the ID so you can't really farm it with resets, and you don't even need frozen runes for t3...

Blizzard won't change a thing. They can just roll everything in the same way as they did in Vanilla and it won't cost them a penny. I'd love classic + or the option to stay on classic servers but that will mean spending on development.

@@justinarmstrong7532 Yes, and tbh I'm glad it did. It's not like Naxx is super hard, but it's at that really good spot where is hard enough and takes some setup for sure. People actually crafting FR gear unlike in AQ40.

Get it as soon as possible before the price hikes. Even in WOTLK for the first few clears people had to go run and get frost resis for the 2nd to last fight. If you dont get it, you will find out real quick lol.
