Greetings from Western Australia. I made the Malala Sweater for our last winter (we are currently in late spring). It is a fantastic pattern, well drafted and easy to put together. I also feel well put together. I wore it on a recent trip to Melbourne, and received a lot of compliments. I will be making more for next winter for sure.

DiBY was closing down about 6 months ago(ish) and everything was on sale - 60% off or something. Anyway I downloaded a few free patterns including the Billie blanket. It was then bought/taken over by another company/person and it stayed online. I’ve yet to make anything but the freebies looked good.

well I never! I didn't know that! Although I've noticed a few indie pattern companies are closing down. Obviously the current economic climate must be taking its toll on all businesses which is a great shame. Sadly it's not the first time that we see good companies going to the wall as they say. so sad. 😘
