An excellent example of how to "expand and think vertically", as Claude Anderson talks about in his book POWERNOMICS.

God bless. Let's use the fabrics to improve our Economic activities in the country. We import so much goods and services and export less. The economic dilemma dates back several decades ago since gaining political Independence.

Asamoah has done so well and I hope his desire will go beyond his imagination. However, the misinformation in the narrative got me worried. Kente as it is generally known or called is a traditional craft and trade of the of the Ewe people who have for so long migrated to the Ashanti region for business. The name kente (kete) is translated in Ewe, open and pull or close. If it is an Ashanti invention, why is the name in Ewe then? It is time we rewrite this history and stop the false claim of Ashantis inventing the Kente.

Hmmmmm, it biffles me that what a NASA scientist can do in GHANA is to establish a fashion factory. What Africa needs today is not clothing but scientific development.
