For some reason I enjoy your videos. I think its because you are on the pavement on the ground digging for value every day. You also have a running monologue on the items you pickup, that keeps it interesting. Keep going, living the dream.

Me and my sons one day watched your videos and they couldn't believe the stuff people throw away. Also the kind of scrap you find when your out garbage picking, their minds were blown away. I told them my dad did this when it wasn't popular to garbage or trash pick....

Loved the way you described what you picked up and why; great job. Keep 'um coming.

I started watching your videos 3 months ago. I just watched this video from 2017. Your videos have improved. ;) You take more time, slow down, and explain what you're grabbing. You're one of my favorite channels.

Yeah! We love the trash picking in those awesome "picking piles"!!!! The angle is a little off on the camera on some though. Still...hats off to you. Grateful for your hard work and efforts!!!!

My son and I are going to start doing this. I hate seeing things not being repurposed, donated or recycled. My son will love this. I enjoy your videos. Please take things like coffee mugs, dishes, etc. and send to Goodwiill or a thrift store. You'll get the write off too! Youd be suprised what would sell at the flea market. Just sell them for a quarter. It was a free find so anything made is like free money!

Always so much interesting stuff...but his packing skills make my OCD go haywire and his camera angles give me vertigo!!!...LMAO
@robinwilliams71934 жыл бұрын
Phaedra McCloud LoL, I hear you, fellow OCD! Every time Taco throws stuff into his van, I cringe! I tell myself HE’S picking the stuff and putting it into HIS van for HIS show - I’m just here for the entertainment! Then here comes Taco’s next stop, I cringe at the sound of metal crashing onto a box of china, he closes the van door and moves on! Turns out my cringing hasn’t changed anything (yet!) so now I’ll just say, “Keep the videos coming, Taco Stacks, we love you!”

I am so happy when you take fans. I have a project called "Fans for Friends" where I gather fans that save them from the dump, clean them up and give them to Grassroots and the Howard County Police Outreach for the Elderly who have broken air conditioners and no fans. Fans can SAVE Lives circulating air, window fans pull how air out and fans for desks cooling at face level. So I hope you might explore spreading the word to all about just how important life savers fans can be. Studies show how crime increases with temperature so do your part in lowering crime in a concrete way Save Fans and get them into your subsidized housing and shelters. Thanks for rescuing Fans for Friends! Judy Goldblum
@amyfisher63805 жыл бұрын
Judy Goldblum I love this idea and it’s a great thing you’re doing, but most fans put out in the trash are likely too broken to be saved. I recently had to throw out some old table fans that were so far gone that they couldn’t be fixed.
@mossie19546 жыл бұрын
3:29 OMG!!! that table and chairs are outdoors med-century modern (about 60-65 years old)! That would sell for a few hundred here in Australia, can't believe people throw it out!! Just crazy. At 11:27 you leave the rest of that table? OMG even if it is wood, it could be later changed......crying right now can't believe it made scarp :( I would have given you $200 no questions, for the table and chairs ''as is''.All day - any day.
@janmariebrunette-hunyady13864 жыл бұрын
the chairs and table are Woodard wrought iron. I deal in those sets. the table without the glass and with the chairs are an easy$250 to 300 all day long. With the glass 400 to 500. We pick up old patio tables with glass and sell just the glass for people who have broken their glass. Easy 40 to 75 depending on size and shape. Woodard should never be scrapped. Far too valuable. You took the 2 legs and left the rest of table which is now useless. Please research Woodard furniture. Makes my heart ache.

In case you still have the dish you thought was Pyrex....it's a pattern called "Blue Heaven" and was released by brands Marcrest and Royal China (50's-70's). Fire King produced this pattern on the dish you found, in the 1970's. I would be jumping for joy if I found this in a thrift store, let alone in the trash (free!). The Blue Heaven series is very sought after by mid-century collectors! Score. Glad you snagged it!

The glassware you can look up the identity online.....One looked like a milk glass casserole/bread loaf over ware(fire -king maybe?) camera didnt show markings, check for marking on the bottom! But its a item that is hard to sell on ebay...Alot of relisting....Better to sell at the fleamarket like ya did in your other vid. Same with the Sevres decorative floral bowl! I used to buy & sell antiques on ebay for years but i got tired of them raising the ebay selling fees all the time! If you figure in the ebay closing costs, insertion fees, paypal fees and the shipping material costs....It all adds up! The only person making out is ebay & paypal at the end of the day! If you ever come across anything in antique glass or pottery, hold it up closer to the camera at all angles..Might beable to identify the item alot better!

Take the rug to the car was and power wash them. If they are small use the clips for floor mats to hang and spray them there. Only us the soap for a short amount of time. I picked up a lg rug last summer and it was sold by 5pm that day for 75 bucks.

As I've commented in another video, load from the backside of your drivelr's seat,& row by row, with space between. & keep laying things neat. Then pattern will steadily build, and unload freely, and without stress. The pattern of filling will "un-fill" just as neat. (otherwise, you must feel like the most blessed trash picker in the world !)

A regular viewer, enjoy watching you get the scrap out goodies. One suggestion, in this video, your camera was tilted too far down, so when you bent over to pick up an item, All I kept seeing was yer feet! Angle up just a bit would be a better view for video, please. After watching it felt like I was straining my neck all the time! Ha ha.
