Hi Polo (from South France), 🌴🌞 I'm French, so I don't understand all of his jokes, but this man is hilarious! (I'm now watching your playlist about him) We have this kind of comic in France who's named Fabrice Éboué. As you say, he can make you uncomfortable for one minute or two and make you laugh the second just after. You never know where he goes (very trash sometimes, but so funny), even in tryin' to anticipate. And it's precisely what makes you laugh more. Peace, folks. ☮👈😎

My hat's off to any parent where ever carrying their crying child away from whatever they want. That is some hard work right there. You know all the people are looking at you, you know someone's gonna come up with the dumbass line "why don't you just give them what they want" all the while you know this is what your kid needs; Discipline. And it's hard work to give them that. So yeah. My hat's off to you. Whoever you are, where ever you are.

Absolutely LOVED this video and your reaction. I can’t believe what kids get away with these days. Not only have I seen kids throwing tantrums, I’ve seen little kids either argue with their parents, or defy them by yelling NO, or repeating the same demand over and over until they get their way. Too many young people today are very entitled, and selfish and have no concept of how the real world works. Bill Burr speaks about what he knows, through experience or just proven facts, in a funny way. I love intelligent comedians and intelligent comedy. Even if people disagree with what he says, he will put it in a perspective you just can’t ignore. My favorite.

I'll never forget when I was like 7 or 8, around 1989-1990, I was throwing a tantrum on an escalator in jc Penney because my mom wouldn't buy me some shoes I wanted. I wouldn't stop, she literally took off her shoe and hit me upside the head with it. Whereinwhich I sprinted out to the car and sat and pouted. When she got there, I told her I was gonna call child protective services. She proceeded to hand me a quarter (days of pay phones) and asked me if she needed to get the number for me. Should go without saying, I immediately shut up and got in the car. You don't mess with the super boss. And if that ain't your mother and/or father, they're not raising you right.

For real tho, people really need to stop believing the first person they hear. Just cause they said it first doesn’t mean they were the “victim” of the story. Just look at Johnny Depp. He mentioned wanting a divorce so she went out of her way to get a TRO and interviews because she knew that because she’s a woman and because she spoke up first everyone would believe her. It took since 2016 to clear his name. And a lot of people still support her and think he’s a liar. It’s absolutely out of control. It’s one thing to feel empathy for someone if their allegations are true, and people should care that justice gets served. It shouldn’t be taken lightly. But having said that, that goes both ways. Innocent til proven guilty. I think part of this nonsense is just cancel culture. Cancel culture took over everything: racial disputes, DV, sexism… if just one person says they were wronged everyone jumps on the bandwagon because they want to feel like their on the right side of history. So when the Amber Heard’s and Jesse Smolliet’s of the world pop up everyone jumps right on board without even stopping to look into it. Just because you question someone doesn’t mean you don’t care for their well-being or their beliefs or whatever. It just means you care about supporting the right side. If I was a victim of DV and I told a friend what I was going through not only would I expect them to have questions, but I wouldn’t be upset by it. People need to get a grip. There’s a difference between searching for the truth and discriminating. It was the other way around for years: men claim the woman is over exaggerating or being emotional and everyone would laugh it off and dismiss it. You can’t say that that’s a problem and then come out with a solution that just puts men in that same position. It should be a case by case basis always. The gender of those involved should have nothing to do with their credibility. As a woman, I’m ashamed of what feminists have done to the movement and how many of them treat men now. The point is to find balance, not to completely tip the scale in the opposite direction. There’s no room for progress that way.

Not only did we get spankings, I grew up with Mom saying go outside and pick a switch, which, incidentally she would carry in her purse to the grocery store and use it in aisle six if she needed to and Dad with his 43 inch belt saying bend over and grab your ankles. Yeah we got the tar beat out of us. We didn't let it happen often! When you know that the repercussions for your actions are going to be painful and fairly long lasting (every time you try to sit down or roll over in your sleep, hitting that very painful spot over your hip bone where you were jumping around and got caught right on the edge). you make better decisions.

Yeah many of the kids now days think they are entitled to be jerks. Parents are so busy working to feed the kids and exhausted to a point its very hard to deal with some of the stuff kids do. We spanked our kids but not like we got spanked/beaten. My son and grandsons are pretty good guys, but I can still see some of the issues they had in school both of my grandsons left high school to home school. I was the bad one in my family of six kids. But my parents survived me and the others. LOL

I'm 57. I was a child in the 70's. Not only would my parents give me a beating, our neighbors would too! They'd see us doing some stupid kids stuff, they'd snatch us up....BEAT US...and march my crying ass to my house. They'd tell my mom what I did and she would CLEARLY see that I'd receive corporal punishment and instead of my mom getting angry about someone hitting her kid, she'd embarrassingly say, "Thank you". 😳🙄🤦🏻🤦🏻🤦🏻I swear to you.... I'm a better person for it.

Beating your Child as a full grown Adult shows that the Parent is at the end of their Rope and have no idea how to teach a Child properly. And yes I was beaten as a Child, my two Sisters got beaten even worse thou. My Olive Branch here, if the Kid is so out of control that it's barely human anymore, yeah fine. And punishments like with the Meat ? The ONLY thing that made sense was to teach to not waste food. You yourself admited that Cube steak is TOUGH and for a SMALL CHILD, still in a high chair, who was obviously struggling, to not admit "ok fine this might have been a bad decision" He even compromised and asked if he can have a Waffle AFTER the Meat and then the Parents became just unreasonable, expecting to eat more and be essentially always 1 meal behind. The Child got frustrated and the Father got violent by throwing something at the kids Face ! You know what I would learn ? That Authorities are incompetent and use their power to do with you what they want and you can't do anything against it. Not enough Authority is just as bad as incompetent Authority.

This my second time I’ve checked you out for a Bill Burr clip. He’s real good and I like your channel so far. However….. I’m not completely convinced you are thinking the same as what he is saying. I may be wrong and if so I’ll appologize. I’m going to see a few more of your videos. Im kind of getting a bit of a conservative who doesn’t really like women that much. I mean you said that more than 50% of women can’t be believed. Just saying…. Why did you say that? Anyways good video. Bills solid gold.

I've come to call Bill Burr politically correct humor. Because he's so rarely INcorrect, you know? He hits it, every time. I will say, though: I grew up in an abusive household where the punishments extended well past your standard spanking. There should still be hard lines in the sand. I wanted character, not to be permanently fucked in the head.

My sister and I would walk through the grocery store with our parents while they picked out groceries and we knew well before the age of 3 you never asked for anything. ANYTHING. EVER. One look from my dad and you knew that if you even tried to beg for something in the store what awaited you when you got home . We used to marvel at the kids with their parents at the checkout counter who would be screaming and grabbing at the candy along the checkout aisles and the parents would pat their kids hands and say "honey that's not good for you. I'll get you something when we get home" My sister and I would look at each other knowingly thinking about the ass whooping they were going to get when their dad got ahold of them. That's how grew up and I never once have I thought of it as abuse. It was tough love which is so missing in today's society.

Maybe in your country. I sure wasn hit, maybe one slap for something i did. But nothing worse, and im from the 80's. I wasn forced to eat old food i didtn like either. I would rather go to bed hungry and/or get grounded then eating something i didtn like. She knew that, and you arent alowed to starve your kids in my country (sure they can miss one meal) . So normally i could just let whatever i didnt like stay on plate. And eat what i liked. She didtn make anything extra just for us. Which was fine.

We always said "supper" .. dinner is midday .. and when we first learned of "dinner" for supper we were told it was a weird Yankee thing .. "lunch" was reserved for what we were served in school lunchrooms or when we had a snack alone instead of a family dinner around noon. - "Dinner" has taken over though, and the reason actually makes sense .. Dinner is the big meal of the day, which USED to be mid-day because that is when farmers and their families were the most hungry. A late heavy meal could mean a late start the next morning. "Supper" was our "lunch", the lightest meal, but at night.

My dad beat the ever living fuck out of us, balled up fists, open hand slaps, throwing, pushing down...I had to watch my mom catch hands so many times its unreal...Kinda sad to hear people talk up that kind of behavior...Like the throwing a glass of milk in a kids face..Getting shit hurled at me when I was a kid was common play..Baseballs, bats, TV's, lamps, food, beers, liquor bottles. I know its a joke and all but ugghhh, still irks me sometimes...Havent talked to my dad since I was 16, im 35 now...He wasnt invited to my wedding, graduation, and if I ever have a kid he sure as fuck wont see it. I doubt Ill even see him before he dies, he doesnt deserve the right to see me again. Thats the relationship abusive actions builds..
