I loved the fact that Red was the only color you could see when in Nazi-occupied area and that liberated areas are fully colored. It was a neat detail that added to the atmosphere.

I got it as a kid for PS3 in '08-'09 and beat it, I switched to 360 in '11 and eventually got and beat Saboteur again in '13-14 for a good and cheap used game to kill time. I always loved it and thought it was amazing, I never knew it was disliked or panned by critics. The ONLY issues I had with it is the endgame. After you beat it you get to a point where you've gotten most of the contraband and get somewhat softlocked since you can barely buy stuff. It's also very repetitive and annoying freeing every single sector and getting all the collectibles(The only Achievements I don't have).

Playing on PC now, found way to up the res to 1280x1024...you can go higher but the map screws up, it is amazing in high def, played it on XBox 360 first, and this is my 2nd play through on PC, this game should have been a HUGE HIT !!! On YT lately(Last few years) there's been a lot of talk/interest in good games or studios that crashed, got shutdown, or went bad. Pandemic has gotten more attention recently, as a prime example of what many people consider a great studio that was unfairly shut down and ruined by a greedy corporation(EA in this case). My guess is with Saboteur being one of their best and most recent games, some of the attention on the studio has been trickling down to it. After all you can only make 1 or 2 videos on the studio, but add Saboteur, Mercenaries, Star Wars, Destroy All Humans, etc... and you can have hours of good content. Also, agreed. I beat this game on both PS3 and later 360 and always loved it, never knew it was considered "Mid" or bad.

I recently finished this game story and I loved every moment of it. The freeplay is also fun climbing houses, destroying Nazi sniper nests, playing ninja jumping from one house to another, being a god in stealth, contraband hunting via AA guns, this is much more than just a GTA clone. I'm doing the freeplay objectives but it's time consuming.

Always loved this game and first beat it on PS3 as a kid, and beat it again on 360 years later as a good and cheap used game to kill time. Never knew it was considered "Mid" and got panned by critics with bad/subpar reviews. I miss Pandemics open world style, there's still good open world games but none(AFAIK) have that Saboteur/Mercenaries feel.

Oh man, you know I decided to look up the saboteur because it was a fever dream I had. I basically borrowed it from a friend when I was younger and I actually had to hide the game from my parents when I played it on the Xbox because I wasn't allowed to play m. Rated games. My mom would find them and snap them in half and throw them away. But I do remember trying to 100% this game liberates all the areas and complete fall the missions. Pretty sure I had one mission left but for some reason I stop playing

Saying I've been drugged and violated by one of yr bar tenders four times look at yr security footage so he did and found the guy who was doing it to me and fired him and I had him arrested and filed charges on him. He's been in prison for eight years now and still is in there. Probably some prisoners boy toy after I told the guards to tell the other prisoners what he did to me. So he's probably dead or getting violated. Because I hear prisoners don't take stuff like that kindly at all and they gang up or eliminate people who done stuff like that or beat em senseless
