Batik is originated belongs to indonesia, Came from javanese term called "amba" and "nitik" it's process to drawing pattern on fabric. On 2009 UNESCO was recognize Batik is belongs to Indonesian. So do not called Batik is belongs Malaysian, Brunei.

Batik is came from javanese term "amba" and "nitik" and already recognize by UNESCO that was originated only from Indonesia, not other place. we celebrate Batik National Day on 2nd October every year. we indonesian wearing batik when we are still in baby, and also took batik for funeral. we wear in batik every our single life.

Please don’t compare with the US, it’s like comparing Apple and orange , me indonesian living in the US , i do understand why you have to tips server in the restaurant (siting down restaurant) bc fastfood worker payed twice than restaurant server. Without tips, i couldn’t paying my bills and put a roof over my head, even the government Tax the tips, just to let you know, my Check i received every 2 weeks only left $10 if im lucky after tax.
