The sandals are because they came in from a family BBQ in the backyard to perform this. There is a video out there in KZbin-land of them at the KZbin offices a couple of years ago reacting to this very performance (their "viral" hit). It's a great watch and we learned a lot about it from that reaction. For instance, during Dany's solo, Ale and Pau said they were nervous because if Dany screwed it up, they had to start all over from the start. 😂

This is not the first video they ever posted. This is the one that blew up and went massively viral though. 25 million views now. It's definitely what propelled their career. Before this video there are several videos of them as very young children playing classical piano, some drum covers by Pau when she was 9-10 years old. There's a video of Dany playing the saxophone at some kind of school concert? another of her singing solo at 13 years old. As a band They had posted covers of Muse, Lady Gaga, Guns N' Roses, Katy Perry, AC/DC all before posting this Enter Sandman video.

@@JohnnyFoxtrotShow At the time they were posting this it was just their dad's youtube channel that he used to share these videos with their extended family. Somehow the Enter Sandman got outside attention and blew up.

@thontor I'm sure their parents would have to have seen that most kids don't have that level of talent with their instruments. I've watched alot of kids play soccer and it's not hard to find the one that stands out in the group 🤣🤣

re: 2014 *Enter Sandman* cover : for a trio, much less a young trio, this is fantastic! slightly different but a full wall of sound filled with raw power and grit... the child's prayer with Pau (drums) and Ale (bass) is beautiful and takes me back to my own youth and bedtimes with one of my parents coaching me along... the power of Pau on the drums, Ale's driving bass line, and Dany rocking out on guitar with her James Hetfield scowl are... whoa! then you think who needs two guitars when you have one Dany? 😹 also, i'll note that the wall behind the camera is a full mirror so all the girls can see themselves playing... this was done so they could work on their stage presence... the wall on Ale's (bass) side also has a window into the equipment side of their studio known as "The Warning Cave" or "The Cave" for short... they were 14 (Dany on guitar), 12 (Pau on drums), and 9 (Ale on bass) when this was recorded... yes! i mean 🤯 TWA ⚡🤘😸🤘⚡ TWA

They did this in one take. Not like a studio version where get to make everything perfect. So, they did not splice multiple takes together to make it studio perfect. Besides, it's a live session so it isn't supposed to be spot on. They have only been playing together for about 2 years at this time. Alejandra on bass is 9 and has only been playing bass since she was 7. They also have recorded covers of Sweet Child of Mine, Resistance, Hysteria, We're Not Gonna Take It (which Dee Snider posted on his FB page), Back in Black, Crazy Train at this same age. Shortly following the upload of this on YT by father, Luis, they began writing their first songs which they released as the EP "Escape the Mind" in April, 2015 of the following year. Music and performing are their DNA. It's easy to get lost in the solo by Dany, but listen to the bass. 9 year old Alejandra is on time and in the pocket, as is Paulina on drums. Remember, Daniela is playing for 2 guitar parts AND vocals. This is the video that got me hooked on them and I have been supporting them on Patreon ever since and buy as much merch as I can. I have seen them once live and had a meet and greet which pass. I'm not wealthy, so I can't travel to go see them. I'm sure all of their music instructors told their parents, Monica and Luis, their 3 girls are literally musical talents and encouraged them to support them in their musical pursuits. There is a series of VLOGs "Bugs Visits the Warning" who is a drummer friend of theirs and he said in one of those VLOGs that they have 20x more talent than he and his band had at their age. So, every one around them saw this talent as well. You are so right about Alejandra, she does NOT like being at the mic. Even today, she does not like to sing lead unless Daniela is ill or tired and needs a break. Be sure to check out the music video for the re-arranged version of ES they recorded with Alessia Cara for the Metallica Blacklist album in September, 2021.
