Dan apparently dropped this phenomenal cover of the iconic Iron Maiden song on Halloween just a bit before midnight. The fact he can produce this quality in his garage studio is mind-blowing to me. The visual effects, theatrical aspects, & crazy awesome vocals are fantastic. It's Dan, though. Dan had already done a couple of really good Iron Maiden covers, but definitely took this one to the next level. If you want to chk out his other IM covers, he did "The Trooper" and "2 Minutes to Midnight (which is about the horrors of war). Victor the Guitar Nerd is a big IM fan & always does an excellent job. What a compliment to his abilities as a musician to have KZbin do that copyright strike because he sounded that convincing to the original version. He has his own channel & has collaborated with Dan for a long time on many songs. Thx for your reaction.

This was an excellent and somewhat darker cover of Iron Maiden's 40+ year old classic. Dan's vocals play homage to Bruce Dickenson's original. Victor the Guitar Nerd was perfect on all the guitars. A masterpiece!

Dan is 34 y.o. and has been in YT for around 13 years. You can check his first video when he auditioned for DragonForce. As usually Dan only chooses to sing what it resonates with him and Iron Maiden does it for sure. Stay tunned for his Christmas song and his Manowar tribute album!!!!

Yes, it is an Iron Maiden cover, just like his title states. Iron Maiden supposedly wrote this after having a nightmare after watching a scary movie. The cool part is, somehow, somewhere, the dreamer obviously also had heard about the 666 in Revelation. Unless he lived under a rock, just about everyone had heard at least parts of it before. Anyway, my point being, the dreamer captured the essence of it, regardless of how they downplayed it. Then along comes Dan, & emphasized the seriousness of it. It's not a fantasy, it's not just a bad dream. The devil was given literal permission to mess us up or go home. Just like us wee mortals are given permission (freedom of choice) to either mess up or go home. The important part, imo, is realizing everything is literally freedom of choice. Good to see you gave this 2 thumbs up. Dan really hit this out of the ballpark. Brilliantly done.

Dan generally drops songs around holidays, i.e., Amazing Grace at Easter, this cover of IM at halloween etc. Rumor has it he is going to release another Christmas song soon. Number of the Beast relates to a nightmare a band member of Iron Maiden had allegedly after watching The Omen as others have already stated, not any kind of satanic confession of Dan’s. I find the creative positioning and lighting on Dan’s face portraying the diabolical totally ingenious and Victor the guitar nerd was beyond belief as was Dan’s primal throat searing scream. I’ve also read that this cover sparked copyright concerns from KZbin because it was so close to the original. Thanks for a great reaction! 😊

Dan's stance epitomises that of 'The Beast'. It's also interesting to watch Viktor The Guitar Nerd mimic the stance to reinforce the beast theme. Apart from the incredible music, the amazing choreography and photography bring everything together.

This is so sad.🙄😭😭😭😭🙄 At least Philly knew who Iron Maiden was .........😭😔😭😔😭 The Number of the Beast Album by Iron Maiden was one of the most popular iconic Metal albums of all time. It sold over 20 million copies. This is a cover of this classic title 1982 song. As important to Metal as Elvis was to Rock.😭😭😭😭 The art on the album cover is recognizable to Metal fans all over the planet😭😭😭😭 The song was written after a band member had a horrible nightmare triggered by seeing Damien, Omen 2 in theatre(a famous horror movie from the late 70's). Victor, the guitar nerd, did a great job of reproducing this iconic guitar solo. Yes, he is an incredible guitar player but he is no Tosin Abasi.🙄😂😔😉🙄 Anyway Dan crushed this cover. 🌹🦋🌹 😭😭Heartbroken in Canada🇨🇦

I know that style is not everyones cup of tea. I just happened to not be into heavy metal in my earlier years. Nobody in my inner circle introduced me to it really.
